RUNE OF THE MONTH: Challenges

Whatever life deals us is perfect for that moment. There are no mistakes. It’s up to us to respond positively to whatever happens from moment to moment. And even if we do not react with grace and consciousness, let us never forget that we are also human and that next time we’ll know better and have a chance to express ourselves more harmoniously.

We are blessed with a Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday December 21 at 0:13 AM at 29º21’ Gemini.

This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by the following image: "A parade of bathing beauties before large beach crowds." This is a very special time to do a fire ceremony. Place about ½ cup of Epson salts in a heat resistant bowl, soaking in 90º rubbing alcohol. The flames will be clean and will last about 15'. Think of two wishes. Place a little stick, or toothpick, on your third eye, focus on what you want to release in your life and blow it three times into the stick before placing it into the fire to be consumed. Then do the same with another stick, this time focusing on what you want to attract into your life. This special end of the year eclipse is about releasing the illusions in our lives and bringing beauty and grace into everything we are and do.

Mercury is retrograde December 10-29

Mercury is retrograde December 10-29 from 5º54' Capricorn till 19º45' Sagittarius. Despite its bad press due to mechanical malfunctionings and software installments going sour, Mercury retrograde is a beautiful period for old friends resurfacing, remembering projects we abandoned and reconnecting with dreams we forgot. This particular retrogradation, reminds us of ambitions we had, long distance trips we wished to make, higher education we wanted to complete and maybe even a book we dreamed of writing.

Uranus turns direct on December 6

Uranus turns direct on December 6 at 26º40' Pisces. The Sabian Symbols symbolize this degree as follows: "A harvest Moon illuminates the sky." During the past few months, we found our spiritual freedom and reconnected with our true star family. Our intentional meditation began on Sunday 11/21 with the Full Moon in Taurus. On Sunday 12/5, take out your Full Moon charged papers and write one positive, concise intention per sheet. Place your papers out to be activated by the New Moon in Sagittarius, making sure they are on a balcony, in a garden or near a window by exactly 9:36 AM. Once that moment has passed, staple your sheets together, write the date and put them away, expecting a miracle!

Our next intentional meditation begins on Tuesday 12/21. Take out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions, and place them out (on a balcony, near a window or in a garden) to be charged by the Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) in Gemini at exactly 0:13 AM. Once that moment has passed, gather your sheets and place them in a folder until the next New Moon (Solar Eclipse) in Capricorn on January 4 2011 at 1:03 AM.
