RUNE OF THE MONTH: Sowelu, "Healing"

We heal when we stop judging others and ourselves, and start forgiving. There are no mistakes, only learning experiences. As we embrace all that we are in our darkness and in our light without condemnation or comparison with what we should have said, could have done…. we become free to express true compassion. Living fully in the moment with grace, shifts the past and transforms the future. We heal when we stop focusing on the disease and start seeing ourselves and others as already whole.

The third eclipse (Solar Eclipse), following the June 1st and June 15th eclipses (kindly refer to my June newsletter), occurs at 9º12' Cancer on July 1st. Eclipses are always very exciting cosmic events. They are portals leading us into a whole new dimension of our lives. Opportunities that weren't available previously, open. Our awareness shifts to a higher level. Wonderful new horizons appear. Whatever happens on an eclipse day is usually final, although "final" in these times of rapid changes can lead to the same situation shifted to a totally new dimension. What is certain is that a point of no-return is created, that resolutely pushes us forward into the unknown. We also need to remember that eclipses take a bout a month to unfold. By August 1st, that we shall have clarity on what has shifted in our lives and why.

Solar Eclipse in Cancer (9º12').

This degree is symbolized by "A large diamond in the first stages of the cutting process." This last eclipse turns our attention to our home and the concepts we base our lives on. Where do we feel comfortable and safe? Who are the members of our true spiritual family? What is our inner truth? What do we believe in? We are asked to redefine who we are in the new dimension we are reaching in our evolution. It is not about just continuing to go with the flow. It is about completely recreating ourselves according to a vision inspired by our heart.

Uranus turns retrograde on July 9th until December 9 between 4º31' and 4º23' Aries.

This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbol by the following image: "A triangle with wings". In sacred geometry, triangles or pyramids point towards the heavens from a place of great groundedness. We are discovering how to fly in our uniqueness while remaining very solidly anchored in the requirements of our daily activities. As we become more and more who we truly are in our divinity, our ordinary chores also become lighter and easier. Time expands allowing us to do all that we need to, more effortlessly.

Neptune continues to be retrograde this whole month until November 9. This month it travels from 0º43' to 0º07' Pisces.

The Sabian symbols associate the following image to this degree: "A crowded public market place." As more and more people across the planet are awakening to their true purpose, we are rejoining with our spiritual families and discovering an abundance of gifts that we can share with each other to support our well-being. When we tap into our spiritual dimension, we find all that is necessary for us to live happy and fulfill our needs. This could herald a time of trading services with each other so that we are all both valued in our talents and receive what helps us further our growth.

Pluto is still retrograde this whole month (until September 16), from 6º07' to 5º25' Capricorn.

These 2 degrees are symbolized by "A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of a god." and "Ten logs lie under an archway leading to darker woods". It is essential now that we listen to our inner guidance and embody the divine within. Even when we have to confront our shadows and enter the dark night of the soul, we are given the tools to create the fire that will help us transmute our fears into love.

Our Intentional Meditation

Our intentional meditation began on June 15 with the Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) in Sagittarius.

On Friday July 1st take out your Full Moon charged papers and write one positive, concise intention per sheet. Place your papers out to be activated by the New Moon (Solar Eclipse) in Cancer at exactly 1:54 AM making sure they are on a balcony, in a garden or near a window. Once that moment has passed, staple your sheets together, write the date and put them away expecting a miracle!

Our next intentional meditation begins on Thursday July 14.

Take out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions, and place them out (on a balcony, near a window or in a garden) to be charged by the Full Moon in Capricorn at exactly 11:40 PM. Once that moment has passed, gather your sheets and place them in a folder until the next New Moon in Leo on Saturday July 30th. Same procedure as above, take our your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window at exactly 11:40 AM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

Sunday July 1: Solar Eclipse (1:54 AM), Mercury enters Leo (10:38 PM until July 28)

Regarding the eclipse, kindly refer to the opening paragraph. During the next 3 weeks, our verbal expression tends to be more dramatic. We could be drawn to the arts: cinema, acting…. We seek the limelight and speak from the heart. Our creativity is enhanced.

Saturday July 2: Sun Square Saturn (5:18 PM)

Our life could feel tedious and heavy today. There could be cause for worry and suspicion. Important to use our energies constructively by focusing on work, structure and discipline.

Sunday, July 3: Venus enters Cancer (9:17 PM until July 28)

During the next 3 weeks, we could feel more emotional than usual. We seek security and need to nurture and feel cherished by our loved ones. Sharing time with our blood and/or spiritual family may seem more important than usual. Cooking, photography and beautifying our home could also become attractive.

A great day for a magical date. We feel the oneness of all that is and are able to appreciate the beauty in everything and everyone. Artists could feel particularly inspired in an almost mystical way. Our thoughts are original. We are able to free ourselves from many limiting/limited beliefs and open ourselves to the unknown.

Tuesday, July 5: Mercury Square Jupiter (11:09 AM)

If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is. We should be careful today not to promise more than we can deliver. It is important that we speak our truth in a way that respects the reality and sensitivity of others. Exuberance could backfire.

Wednesday July 6: Mars Trine Saturn (5:17 AM)

A day where we have the courage, the discipline and the self-control to handle anything that comes our way. Limitations ground our efforts, making them more solid. Strenuous exercise helps us build our strength.

Thursday July 7: Jupiter Trine Pluto (6:53 AM), Venus Square Uranus (2:45 PM)

Creating win-win situations brings peace and happiness. Our spiritual, philosophical and educational horizons expand with wisdom and tolerance. A trip to a faraway country we feel soul connected to, could prove life changing. Estrangement could occur in a love relationship. It is important that we remain flexible and learn to balance the need for freedom with a respect for intimacy.

Friday July 8: Venus Opposition Pluto (5:30 PM), Venus Sextile Jupiter (11:07 PM)

A great day to purge deep-seated emotions that do not serve our highest good. Fears and insecurities manifesting as jealousy and possessiveness, either felt or experienced as coming from another, must be confronted to help us truly understand what love really is and how to live with more passion. We gain a philosophical understanding with regard to a deep romantic involvement and become clearer on how it can enrich our lives.

Regarding Uranus turning retrograde, kindly refer to the opening paragraph. Today we need serious, meaningful conversations. We seek the company of people we respect and admire, who can help us further our goals in life.

A great day to walk our talk and speak our truth. We express our thoughts with courage and determination. We are not afraid to confront others and to cut through situations that need to be resolved with clarity and focus.

Wednesday July 13: Venus Square Saturn (0:37 AM)

The weight of loneliness felt today, could forces us to reexamine past romantic choices as well as how conducive to higher growth an existing commitment is. It is important that we become clear on what we need from a love relationship and how we can change within ourselves what doesn't feel fulfilling.

Thursday, July 14: Full Moon in Capricorn (11:40 PM)

A great time to re-evaluate our goals in life, be clear on our long and short term ambitions and the contribution we wish to offer society.

Friday, July 22: Sun enters Leo (9:12 PM until August 23)

During the next month, we need to act and speak from our hearts. Our warmth and positive energy create opportunities. We may seek the limelight and need to balance work and play. A wonderful time to explore our creativity and enjoy time with children.

Today, it's our way or the highway. We feel very independent, driven and free spirited. Collaborating with others could prove more difficult than usual. A sense of urgency could lead to decisions that move us forward unencumbered by emotional considerations.

During the next month, our heart leads the way. We seek romance, warmth and generosity of spirit. We are likely to be inspired to whole new levels of creativity. A new romance is both liberating and exciting. An existing relationship goes through a complete renewal. We feel very magnetic today and seek spiritual and intellectual stimulation. It is easy to make friends. We are drawn to eccentric or free spirited individuals who walk to the sound of their own drummer.
