Predictions for 2012

This is a 5 year (2+0+1+2=5) of change and movement. Much information becomes available. From October 29, 2011 to December 21, 2012, the last cycle in the Mayan Calendar offers us a final chance to transmute what remains of the old consciousness into the new. Because the last hour is often the darkest, the intensity of the challenges that are likely to appear, could seem at times, -particularly during the summer- difficult to bear. But let us not forget that nothing is presented to us that we cannot handle. No matter how it looks, all is always in divine perfection. We chose to be here at this magnificent time in the evolution of humanity, fully aware of what would await us. The more we embrace what presents itself to us, one obstacle, one blessing at a time, with integrity and courage, the faster we shall remove the blocks separating us from the enlightenment which is our abiding destination. In 2012, many who were at the edge will join the flow of evolution and ascend with a massive amount of people all over the planet.

In the chart erected for October 29, 2011 at 12:00 AM EDT a very special configuration (double T-Square between Mars, Neptune and Mercury conjunct Venus) reveals that our ego is dissolving, allowing us to touch a much deeper and more magical aspect of ourselves. We are becoming more in harmony with Nature and could communicate with animals and plants in ways that surprise us and open us to a previously unknown wealth of information. We become much more in tune with the invisible and are able to see the beauty around us. We understand others and the situations we find ourselves confronted with, intuitively. Our thinking is in essence deep and loving. We express ourselves with compassion. Our actions are motivated by tremendous sensitivity. Powerful insights allow us to reach beyond the surface into the mystery of existence and our own spiritual roots.

Neptune re-enters Pisces (February 3, 2012- January 27, 2026)

During this time, we acutely experience our spiritual dimension. Our attunement with higher spheres of consciousness is tangible. Our dreams are vivid and our imagination, inspired. Our mystical state of mind enables us to see beauty everywhere around us. Music is soothing, as are silence and art (particularly dance and photography). We can feel the need to adopt a slower pace, allowing more space for daydreaming and meditation. The magic we feel permeating the atmosphere connects our souls with transcendent states of being. As the veil separating the more materialistic world and the higher realms gently dissolves, we are able to read energy and feel the unknown.

Pluto retrograde 9º33 – 6º57' Capricorn (April 10-September 18)

Our sense of responsibility is strong. We need to use our power constructively and with great integrity. As we reach a state of unconditional love, the whole of society is also purified.

Pluto Sextile Chiron (May 12, September 6)

Our ability to regenerate at a cellular level is powerful at these times. Our understanding of sexuality, immortality and the positive use of power brings great healing. Dangers test our strength and courage. Thanks to our penetrating insights into ourselves, others and the circumstances around us, we are able to transform darkness into light.

Solar Eclipse 0º20' Gemini (May 20)

This degree is described in the Sabian Symbols as "A glass-bottomed boat reveals undersea wonders". The veil between dimensions is removed, enabling us to see clearly the beauty and magic of all that is.

Lunar Eclipse 14º08' Sagittarius (June 4)

The Sabian Symbols refer to this degree as being "The groundhog looking for its shadow on Groundhog Day, February 2". As legend would have it, if a marmot emerging from its lair on February 2nd fails to see its shadow, it means that clouds are hiding the sun, implying that spring is near. If it sees its own shadow, it needs to return to hibernation for another forty-two days. The eclipse marks an important turning point. We need to assess exactly where we are: have we completed our homework? Is there sill something within ourselves that needs to be shifted? If we feel clear and happy, we can look forward to joyful and lighter days. If something in our lives remains challenging, it is important that we transform it as quickly as possible.

Neptune retrograde 3º09'- 0º21' Pisces (June 4-November 11)

During these months, visions, dreams, meditation, channeling, healing bring subtle insights. Our attunement to the spiritual realms leads to a deeper understanding of the sacredness of life. The fact that we are all one becomes clearer as our experience of unconditional love deepens. Music, painting, silence and solitude bring solace to our souls. Our dreams at night could be particularly premonitory. We are inspired to create more beauty and peace around us. There could be a very profound concern for the oceans and marine life. New forms of power replacing gasoline could also be discovered and/or developed.

Jupiter enters Gemini (June 11, 2012- June 26, 2013)

Our curiosity knows no limit at this time. The portal to other dimensions opens in such a way as to offer us insights into concepts that were previously hidden. Our broad-mindedness leads us to investigate the most varied topics of interests. As we enthusiastically share our knowledge, we vastly enrich each other's intellectual and spiritual horizons.

Chiron Retrograde 9º38'- 5º01' Pisces (June 12-November 14)

The roots of the wounds we may still carry lie deep within ourselves. Contemplation, isolation and silence bring healing. As we examine the consequences of our actions, a chance is given to transmute any remaining karma.

Uranus Square Pluto (June 24- September 19)

These 4 months are likely to be the most challenging months of the whole year. We are dealing now with collective karma requiring an ultimate transformation. All the darkness needing to leave our plane could make a last attempt to save itself. Disruptive events directly linked with evil, corruption, and social, economic and political upheaval test our survival skills and our capacity to be emotionally transparent. Our spiritual strength is likely to be challenged by negative magic, the use of dark occult, abuse of sexuality and natural catastrophes. We need to stay grounded in our own light to recognize that these changes are a chance for a new beginning. As we remain clear on who we are and what kind of world we wish to co-create, progressive reforms and revolutionary innovations lead to unfamiliar, yet positive new circumstances.

Jupiter Square Neptune (June 25)

Under this transit, we should beware of anything that is too good to be true. Spiritual illusion could sweep us off our feet into dangerous directions. False prophets could mislead us. Illusions that we have already reached our destination could blind us to the necessity of pursuing our inner work. At this point in time, more than ever do we need to use our common sense. All that glitters is not gold. If our inner voice tells us that something is ever so slightly off, we should listen carefully. A lack of vigilance could make us fall prey to false Christ consciousness –false light appearing real-. We need to focus on what is in front of us, in full presence to each moment, far away from idealistic daydreams encouraging us to escape reality.

Uranus Retrograde 8º32'-4º36' Aries (July 13- December 13)

A period to assert our independence and pioneering spirit. Unexpected cataclysmic events could occur. What was still holding us in the old consciousness passes suddenly. Rebellion and the need for freedom from old structures press us forward in impatient and disruptive ways so that a new order may emerge out of the chaos.

Jupiter quincunx Pluto (July 18- December 20)

We need to cultivate integrity, patience and humility. Strange psychic phenomena could occur, testing our spiritual clarity and emotional strength. We could see projections that don't exist but are specifically manufactured to create fear in us and make us feel vulnerable. We need to remember that no matter what things around us may seem to be, we are immensely powerful. Fear is the opposite of love. When we focus on love, we become invincible to fear. As we draw on our faith and inner conviction to the divine, no amount of dark manipulation can have a hold on our spirit.

Unexpected new spiritual concepts arise at this time. Our consciousness broadens through psychic visions. Major scientific breakthroughs free us from previously limited beliefs. Sudden opportunities change our daily routine and project us into a whole new dimension.

Religious fanaticism and the temptation to play God are great dangers to individuals and entities such as governments at this time. If we channel our sense of injustice into humanitarian causes, our visions and aspirations for a better world can have a transformative impact on society. Traveling brings healing. No matter how profound the destruction around us may seem, if we maintain our faith, rely on our wisdom, and listen to our inner guidance, invisible doors miraculously open right in front of us. Focusing on the highest good, helps us radiate the spiritual authority needed to inspire those who would fall prey to negative power extremes. Envisioning the positive, attracts it into our lives.

Saturn in Scorpio (October 5, 2012- December 23, 2014)

The next two years are bringing a whole new understanding of sexuality. As we become aware of the energy exchanges occurring during physical intimacy, we experience sex no longer as a one-chakra, one-body experience, but as a multi-chakra, multi-body adventure that can lead to astral traveling through time and space and discovering aspects of our truth that are extraordinary.

Saturn Trine Neptune (October 10)

Governmental institutions, the banking system, and corporate businesses, are dissolving in their traditional form, gradually integrating spiritual principles. Meditation, yoga, and contemplative practices spiritualize our daily lives, helping us approach practical issues in a whole new light. Our intuitive insights deepen our perceptions, which mature. We can have lucid dreams and develop an awareness of our parallel lives.

The Sabian Symbols describe this degree as being "Hunters shooting wild ducks". This eclipse is our chance to transmute the old ways of society and find our true humanity by connecting with the spirit of animals, plants and the Earth in respect and gratitude.

Saturn Quincunx Uranus (November 15)

A new society is emerging, integrating fresh new ideals. The need for freedom is balanced by a sense of discipline. More people are directly in touch with their intuition. Original scientific inventions and creative ideas expand our lives into exciting, uncharted territory.

Saturn Trine Chiron (November 16)

At this time, far from being restrictive, limitations should be seen as our chance to consolidate our mastery. Even if we still have to face darkness in and around us, we should remember that it defines light. The more secure and grounded we are within ourselves, the more efficient the last social reforms will be. As we embrace everything that we are and all that surrounds us, we radiate authority, grace, wisdom and peace.

Lunar Eclipse 6º40' Gemini (November 28)

In the Sabian Symbols, the image associated with this degree is "A well with a bucket and a rope under the shade of majestic trees." Three weeks from the final Ascension date (12.21.2012), we have found the transparent waters of wisdom. We can drink and replenish ourselves on every level, protected by our own inner understanding and connection to the truth of the universe around us. As our heart and soul regenerate, so does our body.
