RUNE OF THE MONTH: SOWELU "healing". Healing is defined by the dictionary as "transcending suffering", "restoring to health", "becoming sound". This may be a call to take better care of ourselves, as we are ascending with our bodies and not just in spirit. It also means forgiving ourselves, our past, others whom we may feel "wronged" us. If we look closely, we'll realize that nothing, no one, is external to us and those who "hurt" us, are really only us wounding ourselves, great teachers showing us what still needs to be mended within. Selfless service, reconciliation, generosity, each have a part in healing which ultimately is the journey towards wholeness, the highest expression of which is Love.

Saturn's shadow period remains until October 1st, 2012.

A chance to revisit and make right what was going on in a love relationship between October 28 and November 6, 2011. If we had no relationship at that time, the opportunity is given to us to understand exactly what we want and create our inner marriage so that we may attract a significant Other from a place of fulfillment and feeling whole and not from a place of scarcity, fear or need. We are learning to balance our power and our peace with grace, delve deeply into life's mysteries and truly understand our deep inner connection with someone we cherish.

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month until December 13.

The shadow period will continue until March 30th, 2013 (when it returns to the exact same degree it started its retrogration on). It travels this month from 7º37' to 6º31' Aries. These 2 degrees are represented in the Sabian Symbols by: "A large woman's hat with streamers blown by an east wind" and "A man succeeds in expressing himself simultaneously in two realms." We are accessing our multi-dimensionality in a conscious way, independently remaining ourselves as we blend with the universe. The veil between realities is thinning, allowing us to see all the facets of the people and situations around us as a reflection of ourselves.

Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 11.

The shadow period will last until March 2nd, 2013. The 2 degrees it travels this month (from 1º32' to 0º49' Pisces) are symbolized by "A squirrel hiding from hunters" and "In a crowded marketplace, farmers and middlemen display a great variety of products." The more we access our spiritual truth, the more abundant we become. Financial prosperity never comes from a person or a job, but directly from the divine and this is what we are discovering this month more completely than ever. As we tap more clearly in our own skills and resources, there is nothing we need that we cannot manifest ourselves for both our own sustenance and that of others.

Pluto continues turns direct on September 18. Its retrogradation ends at 6º57' Capricorn.

The Shadow period lasts until January 7th, 2013. The image associated with this degree in the Sabian Symbols is: "A veiled prophet speaks, seized by the power of God." The more we stand in our power, with courage, kindness and strength, the more we become an incarnation of the divine. Enlightenment, which is the path we are individually and collectively on this last year of the Mayan Calendar, requires of us to gradually put light where there was darkness, and lightness where there was density. In English, the lack of heaviness and darkness is expressed by the same word. When we are light, when we feel light, divine love and wisdom shine through us.

Our Intentional Meditation

Our intentional meditation started on Friday August 31st with the Full Moon in Pisces.

On the New Moon in Virgo on Saturday 9/15, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out at exactly 7:11 PM (you can put them out up to several hours prior to that time). Once that moment has passed (even if several hours later, or the next morning), staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

On Saturday September 29, place as many blank sheets as you will have intentions out to be charged by the Harvest Full Moon in Aries at exactly 8:19 PM. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder until the next New Moon in Libra on Monday October 15 at 5:03 AM.

Saturday 9/1: Mercury opposition Neptune (2:17 PM)

A day when our judgment may not the clearest. Signing legally binding documents is not recommended. We could feel somewhat foggy and unfocused as well as be subjected to spiritual illusions. This transit is best spent sleeping, watching an inspiring movie, painting or writing.

Monday 9/3: Venus Square Saturn (0:46 AM), Mars Sextile Pluto (4:02 AM)

Social encounters could feel more work than fun. Even in a crowd, we could feel sad, lonely and isolated. A day of forceful communications. We are able to X-ray situations and people. We are drawn to science as well as metaphysical studies. Our capacity for concentration is intense. As our knowingness emerges from the depths of our being, we make a great impact on others and our environment.

A great day for signing contracts and having repairs done. Our exchanges with others are direct and inspire to action. If we have felt indecisive until now, today we are able to make a clear decision and resolutely move forward.

During the next month, our heart is even more open than usual. Our generosity of spirit is attractive to many. We enjoy the limelight and are drawn to artistic creation. A great period to start acting, painting or writing.

A sense that we are not getting as much out of life as we could/should is likely to prompt us to searching for deeper fulfillment. Excesses should however be avoided. Something we'd like to have could be overpriced. We could go into extremes in diet and dress. Very important today to stay in humility and gratitude.

Over-expansiveness may lead to judgment mistakes. Trusting blindly is unwise today. Not a good day to travel. Social functions could prove tedious. Best to discuss philosophical matters with old friends.

Monday 9/10: Sun Conjunct Mercury (5:44 AM)

The perfect day to write that letter, make those phone calls, set goals and clear any misunderstanding. Trading, selling, traveling are all favored today. Our curiosity is enhanced. We may try something for the very first time.

Wednesday 9/12: Venus Trine Uranus (9:46 PM)

Our esthetic tastes could be more eclectic than usual. A new romance could be freeing yet short-lived. An existing love affair could undergo a complete regeneration. We are attracted to eccentric people. Our charisma is greatly enhanced and we look for excitement in our relationships.

During the next 3 weeks, we seek harmony and justice in our communications with others. We are able to see both sides of the equation and reach fair settlements. We are more attracted to beauty than usual. Peace is particularly appealing.

One of 7 such transits which will happen over the next 4 years (June 28, 2012-March 2016). The breaking down of the old structures of society. On a personal level, we could feel that people and circumstances are closing down on us. Darkness could emerge from the depths allowing us to transform personal negative emotional patterns and see the truth of people around us. Intense commitments could change our lives forever and lead us on a whole new life path. An activity having in mind the good of all, can now flourish.

Thursday 9/20: Mercury Opposition Uranus (3:24 PM), Mercury Square Pluto (4:19 PM), Venus Sextile Jupiter (8:45 PM)

A day when people could act strangely or prove unreliable. We could feel impatient, and impulsive as well as estrange ourselves from others with brusque responses or manipulative tactics. The more generously and lovingly we express ourselves, the more we can cancel out these extreme ego answers and curtail today's potential destructiveness.

During the next month, we are very concerned with beauty, equilibrium, justice and peace. A romantic relationship may come to the forefront, requiring that we experience it in a more balanced way.
