Uranus in Gemini July 7-November 7, 2025

URANUS IN GEMINI

You may remember that 2025 is a particularly exceptional, turning point year in that not just one slow-moving planet is changing signs but ALL of them. Due to their respective velocity this is beyond rare, almost impossible. To refresh your memory, In November 2024, Pluto entered Aquarius for good. in March 2025, Neptune went into Aries followed in the same sign by Saturn in May, and Jupiter entered Cancer in June.

Monday July 7, 2025 is particularly important because of the only one planetary aspect of the week, but most of all because of Uranus -the last planet to change signs, after having spent 7 years in Taurus, enters Gemini. This first entrance will only last 4 months until November 7, during which we shall start seeing major changes in society, mainly in science, communications, the media, education, relationships, and A.I. He will then return to Taurus one last time on November 8 for 5 months and a half, before re-entering Gemini for good on April 26, 2026 until May 22, 2033.

Because planetary cycles repeat themselves, it is always wise to look back into history in order to gain a deeper understanding of what to expect as well as learn our lessons. Uranus was in Gemini:

- 1941 to 1949 (WWII, invention of the microwave, the color TV, the dialysis machine, Velcro, Tupperware, the jeep, bikinis, transistors, LP music records, synthetic detergents, aerosol spray cans…. )

- Uranus was in Gemini before that from 1859 to 1866 (American civil war/ the invention of the first traffic lights system and the first submarine, creation of synthetic dyes….)

- and still prior, Uranus was in Gemini from 1774 to 1782 (the American revolutionary war/invention of the electric telegraph, the flush toilet, the steamship, bi-focal glasses, the circular saw….)

Because Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, Lord of Gemini, we can expect a quickening of the already fast changes we have been experiencing making it feel like we are entering a science fiction movie.

We could feel agitated, nervous, restless. Old ways of thinking will break down giving way to greater mental creativity. Alternative, faster, more efficient and maybe playful methods of teaching will develop. Our curiosity will know no bounds. New interests, maybe even bizarre, eccentric or original will grab our attention. Our comprehension will be quick. Sharp witted, we shall express ourselves with increased ingenuity, intuition, and imagination.

New ideas will radically transform our perceptions of reality and ourselves. Unusual insights will help us explore untouched areas of our own creative vision. Shocking news or events could rock our sense of stability and transform the way in which we process information.

Mental health issues will become a greater concern. In already ungrounded individuals, extreme mental idealism largely disconnected from emotions, could lead to insanity. Individuals lacking a plan or devoid of purpose could get quickly excited by new ideas but also see their enthusiasm fade rapidly thus making their pursuits rather short-lived.

Even though the accelerated pace of life may not give us enough time to do so, it will be important to question everything. Unexpected reversals or disruptions could lead to minds changing on a dime. Opposing points of view are likely to create intense conflicts. A split could occur between our innate wisdom and our intellectual mind.

A deep need for free speech will lead to the proliferation of alternative channels of information. Social media will explode in immensely creative ways. New forms of literature will emerge. The way we read could also transform. Commerce and trading will also undergo great innovations. Unusual methods of transportation could develop such a rail-less trains or flying cars.

And interest in as well as active interactions with extra-terrestrial lifeforms will become more obvious.

New forms of energy are likely to be discovered. Battery operated devices could become obsolete. Advances in the aerial field will revolutionize our connectedness. The quality of air could become of greater concern. Driver-less cars, humanoid robots, the uses of artificial intelligence could develop to a point where machines are in great danger of replacing and even controlling humans. Digital surveillance, cyber-attacks, computerized control could proliferate. Unusual, futuristic inventions are likely to develop. Science will progress greatly.

Old structures and outmoded traditions will be shaken up. Big organizations will be restructured. The need to boldly express the possible will demand inventiveness, adaptability, and open-mindedness. Difficult problems will find unusual solutions. The way we handle our responsibilities will change dramatically, opening unexpected opportunities. And even if these threaten our security, they will stimulate our need for adventure and independence and allow us to express our originality in unique ways.

A deep rebelliousness will bring much needed reforms. Progressive social causes as well as surprising revolutions are likely to take place. We should expect sudden changes of alliances, disrupted friendships, and mass migrations. In a reaction against socio-economic injustices or uncertainty, the need to relocate will become more pressing. Social circles could become increasingly fluid and communal housing as well as extended families, more common, dissolving the limitations normally dictated by age, language, religion, time or distance.

Collective goals will be a powerful force leading to dynamic, new beginnings. No obstruction to progress will be tolerated. Those who do not cooperate to the highest good will organically detach themselves, leaving a tight core of individuals working concordantly to create a better society.

In personal relationships, a new paradigm is likely to emerge. Our social inclinations will be varied, integrating people from all walks of life. It will be important to respect the individuality of each partner and find the right balance between intimacy and freedom, love and friendship. Intellectual and spiritual stimulation will be as important a criteria of attraction as excitement, spontaneity, and adventure. Our greatest affinity will be with people which whom we share an equitable reciprocity.
