In the South, the first direction of the Medicine Wheel, you will embark on a powerful journey of inner and outer transformation. As Serpent sheds his skin, you will begin releasing your past. As you will receive the 7 archetypes (organizing principles of the universe), much will start shifting inside of you. Coming in touch with your core wisdom and memories of ancient initiations, you will be given the power to choose your own destiny.
The teachings are based on what I learned from the Q’ero Master Shamans in Peru, as well as knowledge coming from my native Finland, the land of the Shamans. In the Kalevala, the epic story of the Finns, it is related that the Ancient Ones knew how to tie wind and turn their drums into magical instruments of power.
These 5 days of studies will teach us how to:
open sacred space
do a sand painting
perform an illumination to balance our chakras
let go of the past
perform a fire ceremony
receive the rites and initiations related to the South
start creating our mesa (power bundle)..
I shall also share the rites and initiations associated to the South and make this ancestral wisdom clearer and more accessible to our Western consciousness.
To honor the ancient ways, the program is fixed but not rigid, fitting the needs and levels of the participants.

SCHEDULE:
The classes start at 10 AM and end around 5 PM every day of the 4 days. Kindly note that in order to graduate and become a practitioner yourself, you will need to take all 4 levels:
South: Sep 23-26 2021 (Helsinki)
West: Sep 30-Oct 3 (online) OR Oct 14-16 (Helsinki)
North: November 18-21, 2021 (online)
East: January 6- 9, 2022 (online)
LOCATION:
A nice, bright location surrounded by a park and forests, at 10 minutes from the Baltic Sea.
LANGUAGE:
The teachings will be conducted in english.
DRESS:
- in comfortable dark colors fit for both indoors and outdoors.
- Wear closed, flat shoes (suitable for walking in the forest).
BRING:
a fabric bag
a pad of paper + pen for notes
a drum if you have one
rattle if you have one
3 regular stones that fit your hand, found on the ground (no gemstones and not spherical)
1 nice cloth (70 cm x 70 cm)
1 nice cloth (55 cm x 55 cm)
pendulum if you have one.
LODGING:
I suggest the Hotel Rantapuisto in Vuosaari (about 20 minutes from the Vantaa International Airport).
TRANSPORTATION:
Train ( Vuosaari), get off at the terminus,

Walk 3 minutes from the bus stop
LUNCHES:
I shall provide high frequency water, tea, coffee and cookies. The closest place to eat is at about 10 minutes walking distance (Columbus shopping mall which offers many food choices).
If you wish to bring your own lunch, I have a large (mostly empty) fridge. There are tables and chairs on the lawn in the park + a little BBQ place outside the building that you can also use to grill fish or vegetables.
