In the South, the first direction of the Medicine Wheel, you will embark on a powerful journey of inner and outer transformation. As Serpent sheds his skin, you will begin releasing your past. As you will receive the 7 archetypes (organizing principles of the universe), much will start shifting inside of you. Coming in touch with your core wisdom and memories of ancient initiations, you will be given the power to choose your own destiny.
The teachings are based on what I learned from the Q’ero Master Shamans in Peru, as well as knowledge coming from my native Finland, the land of the Shamans. In the Kalevala, the epic story of the Finns, it is related that the Ancient Ones knew how to tie wind and turn their drums into magical instruments of power.
The Phoenix School takes place in a quiet, beautiful, bright location, surrounded by trees, flowers, mountains and desert trails, 20 minutes from the Sky Harbor International airport, at close proximity from whole food stores and hotels.
During the 5 days of class, we start every morning at 10 AM and end around 5-6 PM. It is suggested to keep your evenings free to integrate and get some restful sleep.
You can either bring your own food or enroll in the 5 meal program ($88) ordered at a local organic café (Perfect Pear Bistro). Lunch and 2 coffee breaks are consumed on site as to not break the momentum of the class.
The 5 days of studies in the SOUTH will teach us, among other techniques, how to:
open sacred space
do a sand painting
perform an illumination to balance our chakras
let go of the past
perform a fire ceremony
receive the rites and initiations related to the South
start creating our mesa (power bundle)..
I shall also share the rites and initiations associated to the South and make this ancestral wisdom clearer and more accessible to our Western consciousness. To honor the ancient ways, the program is fixed but not rigid, fitting the needs and levels of the participants.

The teachings will be in english, as well as french if necessary. Kindly note that in order to graduate and become a practitioner yourself, you will need to take all 4 levels in the following order:
South: December 2021 (Phoenix)
West: March 2022 (Phoenix)
North: June 2022 (Phoenix)
East: October 2022 (Phoenix)
If needed, you may continue your progression through the Medicine Wheel in another West, North or East either in Phoenix or Helsinki.
