KINDLY NOTE that to attend this direction, you need to have successfully completed the South (level I), the West (level II) and the North (level III)
We have gone through the South (Serpent) where we shed our past. We learned illuminations and journeyed in the Underworld.
In the West (Jaguar), we learned extractions, dealt with our dark shadow, and visited the middle world.
In the North (Hummingbird), we learned mythical mapping, explored the Upper World, did soul retrievals and mastered time.
In the East (Eagle/Condor), we shall:
learn the surrogate death rites
practice more advanced shamanic techniques
journey to the upper world
understand what walking with protection entails
create a huaca
perform an aya despacho
receive the rites and initiations associated to the East
This is our final class to complete your mesa (bundle of power), at the conclusion of which you will be a full mesa holder and be able to start your professional practice as a certified shaman.
As, in the South, the West and the North, to honor the ancient ways, the program is fixed but not rigid, and will very much depend on your specific needs.
I shall make this ancestral wisdom clearer and more accessible to our Western consciousness, as well as share the ancient myths of creation and the cosmology of the Q'ero tradition.
The teachings will be in English.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- comfortable clothes (no white please!).
- flat, closed shoes.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- a fabric bag
- a pad of paper + a pen
- rattle
- mesa
- 3 stones you particularly like (they will become your East stones)
- pendulum
- drum if you have one
- Turkey feathers if you have some
- clear Vogel extraction crystal
Time: 8 AM PST (11 AM EST/5 PM CET) to 2 PM PST (5 PM EST/11 PM CET).
The morning will consist of 2 sessions of 90’ each during which Michelle will explain the principles and philosophy of the East, as well as demonstrate healing techniques. After lunch, you will get to practice remotely in break out rooms under Michelle’s supervision, the healing modalities you learned.
There will be one 20 minutes coffee break and one 1h meal break.
