PANORAMIC VIEW OF 2024
NUMEROLOGICALLY, an 8 year (2+0+2+4). Connected to the planet Saturn, 2024 is a year of harvest, and material success, during which we can accomplish great things. What began in 2017 (1 year) is now ready for fruition. A little effort is likely to reap great rewards. Unlikely to care much about what others think of us, with a healthy dose of self-confidence, organization, efficiency, self-confidence, integrity, and fairness, this year enables us to go after what we want. Business trips are favored and unexpected money can come our way. All the stability, patience, self-discipline, reliability, self-control, sense of duty and responsibility we have developed throughout our experience is helpful this year. Sacrifices for an ideal, inner strength, trust, loyalty, and devotion are honored. As we pursue our ambitions with intensity, we may be more quiet, reserved, and shy. We may even appear cold and undemonstrative yet are affectionate and warmly devoted to those we love, respect, admire, and trust. Wise teachers, good counselors, and honest politicians who play an important role in life -and may even be instruments of fate for others, are favored. A year of positive achievements.
THE CHINESE YEAR of the Wood Dragon (February 10, 2024 – January 28, 2025)
Typically, this is a year during which goodwill abounds. Potentially explosive situations are likely to be turned around. A general consensus to back away from aggression, adversity, hate and conflicts leads to very real diplomatic efforts. Discussions could be convoluted, but the good news is that they center around the need to reestablish peace and balance. The time has come for visionary, spiritual leaders in government positions who are both perspicacious and open-minded, see the bigger picture, and prevent bad things from happening before they do. Breakthroughs in medical research could occur. Religious institutions are likely to be cleared of corruption. Stress is alleviated through deep philosophical concepts, light-hearted logic, and synthetized abstract notions. We are able to finally see clearly through situations that were misleading, deceitful, as well as purposedly blurry and confusing. The Truth prevails. A climate of social cooperation reigns. Not backing off from duty and responsibilities once we have accepted them, we are also happy to assist others whenever called upon. A need to be more sociable, warm, fun-loving, and even festive inspires us also to varied artistic activities (painting, sculpting, acting, writing, decorating…) and taking care of our plants and garden. We are more freedom-loving and seek a relaxed lifestyle.

MAJOR PLANETS CHANGING SIGNS IN 2024:
Jupiter in Taurus since May 16, 2023 till May 25, 2024 (5º34’-29º59’ Taurus). This more peaceful influence encourages us to focus on our well-being, heal, spend time in Nature, and honor Mother Earth. Planting fruit trees, creating a herb garden, growing vegetables are all activities in alignment with this very prosperous transit. Money is rightfully valued and becomes more solid. We are willing to work hard to secure the comfort we need and invest in a financial future that also benefits the environment.
Jupiter enters Gemini on May 25, 2024 (0º-21º20’ Gemini) till June 10, 2025. This cycle places a heightened focus on renovating the educational system. Social media, traveling, learning, teaching, reading, writing, journalism, politics, how we communicate and relate to our daily environment in general could be intensified and come under scrutiny. The emphasis is on the exchange of information, the development of our intellect, and raising above small day to day matters that we may integrate larger, philosophical concepts. Our curiosity leads to new, dynamic ideas, but the will to follow through could be lacking. Too much information could create indecision or make us move forward in an erratic manner. The importance of positive thinking, looking at the silver lining of every dark cloud and focusing on the outcome we do want, imposes itself as the most valid way of creating the reality we wish for.
Saturn remains in Pisces since March 8, 2023, till May 25, 2025 (from 3º14’ to 19º25’ Pisces). This is a strange zodiacal position for Saturn who is about as different from Pisces as can be. Restrictions and limitations dissolve. A renewal of faith takes place. We are connected to each other through compassion, tolerance, understanding, and wisdom. Artists are favored. We work in a more relaxed manner with great sensitivity to an invisible flow and are drawn to beauty. Following our intuition brings us serenity.
Uranus remains in Taurus this whole year until April 26, 2026 (19º05’ to 27º15’ Taurus). Changes in the financial system are afoot. By 2026, all paper money is likely to have shifted digitally. We need to free ourselves from debts and not live above our means. A time to simplify our lives, be financially independent, and do our utmost to earn a living doing what we love. Mother Earth continues to rebel against our abuse. Earthquakes, volcano eruptions, tsunamis could occur in the most unlikely places, in the most inopportune of ways, leaving much destruction in their wake. Honoring the Earth, spending quality time in Nature is important to remain balanced and grounded.
Neptune remains in Pisces this whole year until January 27, 2026. The degrees covered in 2024 are 25º04’ to 29º55’ Pisces. These degrees are symbolized by: “A new Moon reveals that it’s time for people to go ahead with their different projects”, “A harvest Moon illuminates the sky”, “A fertile garden under the Full Moon”, “Light breaking into many colors as it passes through a prism”, and “A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it.” The health of our waters, oceans, lakes but also tap water continues being questioned. False information, the concealing of truth, stories passing as news, wolves disguised as lambs while the innocent ones are being slaughtered are rampant. Confusion reigns, misleading even the most educated. The structure of reality becomes very vague while the veil between dimensions gently dissolves allowing those who have eyes, to see beyond the illusions.
Pluto is for the very last time in Capricorn until January 22, 2024 + between September 2 and November 20. The degree covered (29º21’ to 29º59’Capricorn) is represented by the following image: “Directors of a large firm meet in a secret conference”. More darkness and evil that had been buried for a long time is being flushed out. Corruptions at very high level are being revealed. Everything related to child exploitation, sexual abuse, slavery, and domestic violence continues coming to the surface, as well as money laundering, murders disguised as suicides, and the misused power of large corporations. On the bright side, this is a time to stand in the integrity of our own truth, be a law unto ourselves, X-ray situations and people, and know that we know.
Pluto enters Aquarius on January 22, 2024 at 4:50 PM till September 1 and for good this time on November 20 until 2044. The degrees covered in 2024 (0º- 2º06’ Aquarius) are symbolized by “An old adobe mission”, “An unexpected thunderstorm”, and “A deserter from the navy”. Power goes from a small elite to the masses. We resist being governed by beings enjoying self-serving privileges, and seek true democracy. All over the world movements emerge led by people want to be a law unto themselves. A huge sense of freedom sweeps over every nation, accompanied by real progress in the fields of technology, science, and a deeper understanding of metaphysics. The sense that we are the ones we have been waiting for is starting to take its full meaning.

THE 4 ECLIPSES IN 2024

These oppositions represent the need to balance the masculine and the feminine, honor our need for security and safety as well as our desire for passion, intensity, and individuality, and find how to fully express our uniqueness while respecting others. An equilibrium needs to be struck between on one hand peace, beauty, and harmony, and on the other, deep integrity, loyalty, courage, the unraveling of secrets, and profound insights into spiritual truths.

Mercury turns direct at 7:08 PM (22º17’ Sagittarius):
This degree is symbolized by “Immigrants entering a new country”. There may still be some lost items, delayed flights, misread messages, but communication returns to normal tomorrow. We are entering a new consciousness of our philosophical values, more inner honesty, and outer integrity.
Friday 26:
Uranus turns direct at 11:35 PM (19º05’ Taurus):
This degree is represented by “Wisps of clouds, like wings, are streaming across the sky”. A new understand of what makes us free and helps us assert our individuality makes us also lighter and more connected to the divinity inside and outside of us.

Monday 25:
Lunar Eclipse in Libra (5º07’) at 12:00 AM
This degree is symbolized by “A man watches his ideas taking a concrete form before his inner vision”. An eclipse requiring that we develop a clear idea of our own identity through a realistic perception of ourselves. We are able to reach a fusion with the universe and become a true catalyst of transformation for others, by recognizing and embracing our artistic and spiritual potential.
APRIL
Monday 1:
Mercury turns retrograde at 3:14 AM (27º10’ Aries) till April 25.
“A large disappointed audience”. We are drawn to proving our mental powers in a child-like, very subjective manner. Our judgement could be impulsive. We enjoy intellectual debates and stimulation which we hope will change the world as we perceive it. We could be returning to experiences we hadn’t integrated properly, and may need to reevaluate our belief system.
Monday 8:
Solar Eclipse in Aries at 11:21 AM (19º24’ Aries)
“A young girl feeding birds in winter”. Our feelings may be rather subjective and self-centered, yet this eclipse requires of us to honor our emotions and follow our intuition. It enhances our empathy as well as the need to nurture our own needs. New beginnings are afoot.
Thursday 25:
Mercury turns direct at 5:54 AM (16º05’ Aries)
“Two prim spinsters sitting together in silence”. Communication will be normal again tomorrow. We have now been made aware of faulty thinking and need to sit with the new understanding derived from having had to change our minds on many different topics of interest.
MAY
Thursday 2:
Pluto turns retrograde at 10:46 AM (2º06’ Aquarius) till October 11.
“A deserter from the Navy”. Circumstances could bring us to question everything about established institutions, the rules, and what is right and wrong. Led to change and purify ourselves at a very deep level, we are required to free ourselves from what impedes our evolution whether it is people, situations, or an excessive attachment to material possessions. In our quest to be “in the world” without being “of the world”, we could feel the struggles of humanity, very personally.
Thursday 23:
Jupiter Sextile Neptune at 2:44 PM
Our idealism is enhanced. In our dealings with others, we seek beauty, peace, harmony, and balance. Our good will, tolerance, hospitality, and indulgence bring ease and optimism. Mystical and artistic endeavors are favored. A renewed sense of freedom and delight entice us to demonstrating more adventurousness.

Saturn turns retrograde at 12:07 PM (19º26’ Pisces) till November 15.
“A table set for an evening meal”. These next few months are asking us to draw on our inner wisdom and know that we know. Finely tuned to the undercurrents of the world, we could feel its burden with intensity. Whether or not we actually have any artistic talent, we are asked to express the subtleties of our perceptions through creativity. The more inner strength, spiritual fortitude, and deep self-worth we feel, the more helpful we become to humanity at large.
JULY
Tuesday 2:
Neptune turns retrograde at 3:40 AM (29º56’ Pisces) till December 7.
“A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it.” This retrogradation brings a deeper consciousness of what we need in order to evolve to the highest expression of our selves. Dreaming our reality into being, is the way to actually make it happen. It is therefore important to learn to discern what serves the highest good and what doesn’t. The more we purify ourself, the more we can trust our intuition the more we can remedy what within us is still lacking completion.
AUGUST
Sunday 4:
Mercury turns retrograde at 9:56 PM (4º06’ Virgo) till August 28.
“A man becoming aware of nature spirits and normally unseen spiritual energies”. Even though, Mercury is much at home in Virgo, during the next 3 weeks, we could feel extreme nervousness, be quite curious, and excessively critical. Our opinions of what is right and wrong are intensified, and we are more practical in our thinking, paying great attention to details. Yet, because of our finely tuned senses, this does not exclude the possibility of a very real experience with a dimension of reality that is normally not visible.
Wednesday 28:
Mercury turns direct at 2:14 PM (21º39’ Leo).
“A carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission”. Our deeper discernment, ability to focus on the tree within the forest, has enriched our consciousness in very practical ways and given us a more solid grounding to expressing our inner divinity with poise and dignity.
SEPTEMBER
Sunday 1:
Uranus turns retrograde at 8:18 AM (27º15’ Taurus) till January 30, 2025
“A mature woman reawakened to romance”. Five months to free ourselves from traditional relationship paradigms and create a romance that specifically works for our own individuality. Our need to explore our inner self, assert our individuality and liberate ourselves from social stereotypes leads us to claim our independence from accepted social rules. We may find new, unexpected ways of making money, or dealing with our financial obligations.

Tuesday 17:
Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (25º41’ Pisces) at 7:34 PM
“A New Moon reveals that it’s time for people to go ahead with their different projects”. This eclipse is particularly idealistic and dreamy. Coping with reality may feel difficult, and we may develop a rather unrealistic picture of our own potential. Art, meditation, and a relative isolation enabling us to delve in our subconscious are necessary to separate what is ours from what is not. We should avoid drugs and alcohol altogether as our sensitivity is so refined that any substance abuse could interfere with the need to give a concrete form to what our intuition is revealing.
OCTOBER
Wednesday 2:
Solar Eclipse in Libra (10º04’ Libra) at 11:49 AM
“A professor peering over his glasses at his students”. We may not feel entirely satisfied with what we have achieved professionally and lack balance between our social status and our private life. This eclipse is likely to awaken some frustration, even anger, and requires of us to remain persistent and patient. To those who do not give up, success will eventually come.
Wednesday 9:
Jupiter turns retrograde at 12:05 AM (21º20’ Gemini) until February 4, 2025.
“Dancing couples crowd the barn in a harvest festival”. A few months to focus on our philosophy of life, the meaning behind experience, and what makes us happy. We are required to discriminate between truths coming from society and what we intuitively believe in our innermost self. No information should be so serious that we cannot remain light, with a sense of humor, and an ability to celebrate the good things of life. We are challenged to stay positive and embrace life with faith and enthusiasm.
Friday 11:
Pluto turns direct at 5:34 PM (29º39’ Capricorn)
“Directors of a large firm meet in a secret conference”. Even if governments and people occupying positions of authority are being demanding, even oppressive, because these past 61/2 months we found our inner truth and tapped in our inner wisdom, we are more strongly armed to not fall prey on an uphill-downhill roller coaster of emotions. And despite rulers apparently still being in control, the invincible empire they may believe to have built, is shaking and gradually crumbling.
NOVEMBER
Friday 15:
Saturn turns direct at 6:20 AM (12º42’ Pisces).
“A sword, used in many battles, in a museum”. The last 4 and ½ months we have tapped in our inner wisdom. We are now clear on which battles are worthy of our time and energy, and which are best left alone.
Tuesday 19:
Pluto re-enters Aquarius at 12:29 PM, this time for good, until 2044

Monday 25:
Mercury turns retrograde at 6:42 PM (22º40’ Sagittarius) until December 15.
“A rabbit metamorphosed into a fairy (Nature Spirit)”. 3 weeks of leaving no stone unturned, going deeply in the recesses of our mind, X-raying people and situations, so that we may understand ourselves at a profound level. We may reassess our relationship to sexuality and metaphysical truths, and endeavor to transmute lesser instincts into their highest expression. We are likely to be more suspicious, take nothing at face value, and probably seek also more loneliness.
DECEMBER
Friday 6:
Mars turns retrograde at 3:33 PM (6º10’ Leo) until February 24, 2025.
“The constellations of stars in the sky”. During the next 2 months and a 1/2, while our energy is being turned inward, our goals literally reach for the stars. Even if our ideals are unrealistic, our intensified competitiveness makes us want to win and be in command. We are being asked to reassess our sense of power in a more grounded way, find more warmth and humility in our actions, and develop projects that are enriching to us while also enhancing other people’s lives.

“A fertile garden under the Full Moon”. During the 5 past months, the visions we have turned into reality, are bearing fruit.

“A Cupid knocking at the door of a human heart”. During the past 3 weeks, the honesty with which we have been able to look at ourselves, allows us now to welcome true happiness.

This transit brings some stress. We could find that our finances are stretched to the limit. Our resources may be restricted because of feeling exhausted, a drop of income or having to take care of another. Our need for freedom could be blocked by the need to honor our duties and obligations. Opportunities for growth are present but require much work, excellent planning, organization, patience, persistence, and discipline. But if we do what needs to be done enthusiastically, it will result in outstanding efficiency. A financial investment made today will prove lucrative but may require time to yield benefits.
