ORACLE CARD OF THE MONTH: “Practical reality” (Earth). Earth is the element that provides us the solidity we stand on, gives us the materials necessary to build our homes, and offers us the food to sustain our bodies. Earth connects us with everything of a physical nature that we can see, feel, touch, taste, and smell. During the winter months, the seeds are kept warm and protected in the dark, nurturing soil.
As we are closing our books, evaluating our progress, and making way for the new, this last month of the year asks us to be grounded, practical, productive, and dependable. We are being tested on our ability to use our resources well, manage our finances, and improve our skills. As 2025 comes to an end, our values are being challenged, as are our reliability, steadfastness, and trustworthiness. Sensible, persistent actions, as well as paying close attention to details ensure the stability and completion of the whole edifice. Routine and order are comforting. Our projects are concretized by staying realistic and present to the present.

Uranus remain retrograde this whole month till February 3, 2026. Its shadow period remains until March 13, 2026. The degrees covered in December (29º03’-27º59’ Taurus) are represented by: “A peacock parading on the terrace of an old castle”, “Two cobblers working at a table”, and “A woman past her ‘change of life’ experiences a new love.” Instability, sudden turns of events, unexpected changes of mind, and surprising occurrences can rock our sense of reality, bringing uncertainty but also stimulation and freedom. It is essential that we remain flexible enough to welcome the new especially where it disrupts our set plans. When we do, we shall find that innovations, newness, and unusual situations are both liberating and exciting, encouraging us to interact more joyfully with our lives.
Jupiter remains retrograde this whole month until March 10, 2026. Its shadow period remains until June 6, 2026. The degrees covered in December (24º32’-21º29’ Cancer) are associated with the following images: “A will-full man is overshadowed by a descent of superior power.”, “A woman and two men castaways on a small island of the South Seas.”, “The meeting of a literary society”, and “A young woman awaiting a sailboat”. Our inner explorations focus on our family, romantic relationships, spiritual understanding and knowledge. We could be drawn to deepening our faith, reading sacred books, and investigating metaphysical areas of study. Searching the meaning behind our experiences helps us understand ourselves, our place in society, and our connection to others with more depth.
Neptune turns direct on Wednesday 12/10 at 29º22’ Pisces. This degree is symbolized by: “A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it.” Today can still be somewhat nebulous. Lethargy, contemplation, daydreaming, and maybe some confusion are to be expected. We should be especially careful to focus on those things we DO want in our lives as we shall find that they shape our reality. Where our consciousness goes, our experiences follow. What we focus on, we become.
It is worth noting that ALL the fast-moving planets (the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) are changing signs this month inspiring a major reassessment of our personal lives.
Mercury enters Sagittarius on Thursday 12/11 till January 1st, 2026. The next 3 weeks are conducive to long-distance travels, learning a foreign language, taking an interest in a different culture, the law, philosophy and religion, and expanding our world view. We demand mental freedom, express ourselves with honesty, demonstrate a keen sense of justice, and are preoccupied with idealistic concepts, as well as social activities. We embrace goals that are enriching for ourselves and others, with optimism, faith, self-confidence, and enthusiasm.
Mars enters Capricorn on Sunday 12/14 until January 23, 2026. The next 5 weeks are great for decisive, disciplined actions. Our energy is directed towards constructive objectives. In our need to achieve concrete results, we are determined, sober, self-reliant, organized, hard-working, and industrious. We have no respect nor tolerance for waste, incompetence, laziness or lack of purpose. Highly ambitious, we are attracted to authority and power.
The Sun enters Capricorn on Sunday 12/21 till January 19. During the next 4 weeks, our outlook is mature, our common sense grounded, and our efforts calculated. A great transit for any work requiring heavy mental focus, high critical faculties, and disciplined thinking.
