JANUARY 2027
ORACLE CARD OF THE MONTH: “Philanthropic pursuit of justice” (Jupiter in Air). This month, a strong will to be of service to humanity, as well as unselfish generosity lead to success. Our code of ethics should be impeccable. We are encouraged to be charming, sympathetic, hospitable, and charitable. Expansion comes through intellectual alertness. Our curiosity, thirst for knowledge, and varied interests invite us to explore different cultures. Friendships and group associations are beneficial. Companionship, group associations, and honesty are useful in creating social justice. Being broad-minded and tolerant is essential this month, but we should remain mindful to not impose our own ethical standards to others.

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month till February 8, 2027. Its shadow period lasts until May 21, 2027. The degrees covered in January (2º18’ - 1º43’ Gemini) are symbolized by: “The garden of the Tuileries in Paris” and “Santa Claus furtively filling stockings hanging in front of the fireplace”. Not afraid of disturbing the status quo, having the courage of our beliefs, asserting our uniqueness, and feeling the nostalgia of the past bring breakthroughs and ultimate freedom. Wanting to express our uniqueness at all costs, we could also skip over important information. Our curiosity and thirst for knowledge knows no bounds.
Jupiter remains retrograde this whole month till April 12, 2027. Its shadow period remains till July 9th, 2027. The degrees covered in January (26º27’ – 23º29’ Leo) are symbolized by: “The luminescence of dawn in the Eastern sky”, “After the heavy storm, a rainbow”, “A large camel is seen crossing a vast and forbidden desert”, and “Totally concentrated upon inner spiritual attainment, a man is sitting in a state of complete neglect of bodily appearance and cleanliness”. Our opinion of ourselves and our goals could be so high that we tend to take up a lot of space without realizing we are. Feeling unstoppable, we could believe that moral laws do not apply to us and that there is nothing we cannot accomplish once we put our mind to it. A sense of balance and moderation might be necessary.
Venus enters Sagittarius on Thursday 1/7 till February 3. This coming month, we are more friendly, sociable, and outgoing than usual. Our romantic imagination is enhanced. More enthusiastic, light-hearted, popular, and quick to respond emotionally, we may tend to be a little scattered. Our need for independence could make it hard for us to tie our fate to just one person. We seek a drama-free, educated partner who loves to travel or is a foreigner, We are not above wanting to convert our love to our philosophical or religious beliefs and moral principles. Borderline extravagant, outspoken, demonstrative, honest, open, even candid in our reactions to those we love, we could cool off very abruptly should our freedom be threatened. Our esthetic tastes are rather lavish. We are drawn to flamboyant displays of form and color. We also find outdoor activities appealing. Our relationship to money could be rather nonchalant. Even though we attract much luck in our financial affairs, we may not be the best at retaining our gains.
Mars turns retrograde on Sunday 1/10 till April 1st. Its shadow period remains until June 8 when it will have reached 20º56’ Leo. The degree it turns retrograde on (10º26’ Virgo) is symbolized by “In her baby, a mother sees her deep longing for a son answered.” During this period it will be essential to discern between what feeds our ego and what truly builds our self-confidence. A lot of frustration could develop from believing that we should be doing something different from what we are actually doing. Childlike, even childish behaviors could be amplified when things are not going smoothly. Feeling we are swimming against the tide, we could feel sorry for ourselves instead of reaching for wider horizons.
Mercury enters Aquarius on Tuesday 1/12 till February 2nd. During the next 3 weeks, we could experience a certain emotional detachment. Inventors, reformers, and scientists are greatly supported. We quickly grasp advanced concepts and original ideas. We may need to re-examine our ideals: are they ours or someone else's? Are they still current? Technology is attractive. We are drawn to anything that has to do with space travel, the future, or humanitarian endeavors. Studying a subject off the beaten path and gathering information about something unusual could inspire us to unexpected thoughts and perhaps revolutionary ideas. We just need to be careful to not get too weird, extreme or inflexible. Our social life expands considerably. We are attracted to witty, youthful and intellectually stimulating friends. We happily join groups that expand our mental horizons. We are attracted to interesting social encounters where we make new dynamic friends. The rhythm of our life is likely to increase quite significantly. Throwing ourselves into non-stop activities can be tempting, but needs to be restrained a bit, because we also need quiet, solitary times to recharge.
The Sun enters Aquarius on Tuesday 1/19 till February 18. A wonderful month to develop our originality, be more individualistic, and independent. We may become more involved in community efforts, make new friends, and join humanitarian endeavors. We could receive flashes of intuition that reveal the truth in a blinding light. Our mind is likely to become quite inventive making us be interested in science, ufology and everything related to outer space. We don’t particularly care about what others think of us and could happily overthrow some entrenched traditions. Honoring our uniqueness, thinking about the future, and expanding our social life feel a lot more important than respecting the trappings of society.

This month’s intentional meditation started last year on Wednesday 12/23. We took out as many blank sheets of paper as we had intentions and placed them near a window, on a balcony or in a garden so that they basked in the light of the Full Moon in Cancer at exactly 5:28 PM. Once that moment passed, we gathered our Full Moon charged blank sheets and placed them in a folder until the next New Moon.
On Thursday 1/7, take out your blank Full Moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out by exactly 12:24 PM for the New Moon in Capricorn. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams….
Next month’s intentional meditation starts on Friday 1/22. Let us take out as many blank sheets of paper as we have intentions and place them near a window, on a balcony, or in our yard, to let them bask in the light of the Full Moon in Leo at exactly 4:17 AM. Once that moment will have passed, let us gather our Full Moon charged blank sheets and place them in a folder until the next New Moon in Aquarius on Saturday February 6 at 7:56 AM.

Friday 1/1: Sun conjunct Mercury (9:07 AM)
Our mind is more alert, curious, and interested in improving our skills. We are probably more talkative and social than usual, enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and learning from them. A great day for small trips and developing something new, teaching, writing, setting goals, making plans, returning calls, starting a training program…. Excellent also for buying, selling, and trading.
Sunday 1/3: Venus Square Jupiter (9:55 AM)
It may be quite tempting today to throw caution to the winds, exaggerate our emotions, seek flamboyant characters, be over the top dramatic, party too much, and fall into excesses in every way, especially in anything that brings us pleasure. However, too much of a good thing may prove rather destructive. We could be enticed to extremes of emotions, demonstrate carelessness, even wastefulness, have distorted values, and be indiscreet. Our judgement is not the soundest and our self-confidence could be misplaced. We are more vulnerable than usual to conflicts and legal difficulties. Impulsive spending is not recommended, neither is falling head over heels for a person promising just great fun. We should be careful to not take too much for granted today. Serenity and appreciation for what is good in our lives help us stay philosophical and grounded in what truly matters.

Today, we seek a spiritual connection. In our dream of a relationship that fits our fantasy, we could fall in love with love. A date could seem particularly enchanted, romantic, and pleasurable. We could feel we have found out perfect mate. However, that relationship may require some sacrifice. Our esthetic tastes are refined and our sensitivity is enhanced. Daydreaming, inspirational thinking, visions, and idealism are enhanced. Because we need to surround ourselves with beauty, it is a great day to redecorate our home, rearrange the furniture, and explore our artistic talents. Even though we are not particularly materialistic, we can attract an easy fortune and make our financial affairs prosper.

A great day to contract a new insurance. In our social life, we seek quality and depth over quantity. This transit requires that we tie loose ends. Our relationships go through significant changes. If single, we could fall passionately in love with someone who is mysterious, magnetic, and intriguing, with whom we feel a strong karmic bond, and who makes a profound impact on us. Our mind is shrewd, probing, penetrating and powerful. We X-ray situations and people. We understand deeper truths, are aware of what caused present challenges, and have a bit of a detective mind, wanting to solve the mysteries of life. There is an intuitive intensity to our thoughts which could easily become obsessional or compulsive if we are not careful enough. But if we remain cooperative and helpful towards others, discard what is not essential, and keep our reservations to ourselves, we have every chance of being able to negotiate any difference that may arise. Quite persuasive, we should choose our words wisely, as our impact on others has the power of being profoundly transformative. A day of intellectual insights and spontaneous psychotherapy. We also need some isolation and solitude to mull over our plans and search for answers within. It is possible that we may become entrusted with some secret information of grave importance that needs to be handled with careful responsibility, as the consequences of sharing it at the wrong time with the wrong people, could be disastrous. Interested in regenerating our health, we also may wish to investigate anything related to shared finances (taxes, insurances, inheritances…), as well as explore the deeper meaning of death and sexuality.’
Love today, is tied to a sense of duty and responsibility. It is perfect for fulfilling serious commitments and obligations, visiting an elderly parent, helping someone help themselves or attend a social mixer. Exerting much self-control, we could be a little sacrificial, reserved, discreet, calm, respectable, and maybe somewhat inhibited. We seek stable, secure, supportive, and durable emotional relationships that stress fidelity and loyalty. A love affair begun today is based on reality and not fantasy. We focus on our creative talents with seriousness. Our attitude towards money is practical, prudent, and conservative.
Saturday 1/16: Venus Square Mars (1:38 PM)
This is not a very good day for any kind of social activity. We may lack some social grace and be rather tactless. Emotional confrontations are likely. Family connections could be a little strained. People tend to be hypersensitive and easily irritable. Relationships could be fraught with frustrations, arguments, and disappointments. Impatience, aggressivity, or criticism prove rather destructive. Not the best for a date. We could be pursued by someone we are not attracted to, while the person we like proves distant, or blows hot and cold. Jealousy and capriciousness could be a cause of heated arguments. If we already are in a relationship, it will be important to reach some kind of balance between our needs and desires and those of our partner. To avoid any impulsive break-up we would later regret, we need to do our best to remain diplomatic, settle any hostility calmly, talk with great honesty, and make sure our expectations are not so high that they are impossible to satisfy. Because Venus rules, not just love, but also money, today, we need to be careful as we are not super good at managing our funds. Impulsive spending could lead to financial depletion. But on the bright side, our creativity is intensified. Artists could be particularly productive. Dance, music, dynamic partying, as well as competitive sports help us release any pent-up emotional tension.

Applying our psychic, spiritual, and mystical awareness to our daily activities helps us attain the peace we crave.

A soft day that invites us to relax, rest, seek leisurely pursuits, and enjoy the nice things of life. Great for a mini-vacation. Our appreciation of beauty and culture is enhanced. Cheerful, lighthearted, gracious, charming, refined, and calm, we are in touch with our feelings. This transit is great for reading, signing, listening to music, and any creative endeavor. We say what we have to say nicely, with great consideration and respect. Relationships may be a little superficial, but they are pleasant and peaceful. Perfect for a nice gathering with friends, a date or a love affair. We find the right words to express our true feelings.
Monday 1/25: Sun Conjunct Pluto (12:02 AM)
An intense day that invites us to a complete regeneration of ourselves. Old psychological problems, rigid patterns of behavior are being exposed to be released. Letting go to the past, re-evaluating our beliefs, re-assessing our values is a must. Relationships that are not based in love and support, with little to no communication, and relying on subversive tactics tend to crumble. Plumbing problems could arise, mirroring unresolved emotional issues. Only when we consider everyone’s advantage, can we sway others to cooperate with our vision.
Wednesday 1/27: Mercury Opposition Jupiter (8:37 AM)
Promising more than we can deliver is not the best idea. Chewing more than we can swallow, either. If a situation seems too good to be true, it probably is. Not exactly diplomatic, we could be so honest that it brings us trouble. Our optimism could be so great, that we feel the sky is the limit and throw all sensible considerations to the curb. Official engagements seem boring. Business dealings tend to be exaggerated. Any legal entanglement begun today could prove more costly than necessary. We want to enjoy ourselves and be around enriching, positive, open people. This is an excellent day to plan a long-distance trip, go camping, enjoy a long hike in nature, get interested in another culture, or start learning a new language.
Thursday 1/28: Venus Trine Jupiter (6:13 PM)
Our inner contentment, optimism, and joy help us smooth hardships out. Our social life is warm and pleasant. Romance is favored. Our domestic affairs are blessed with harmony. Our loved ones tend to be fair, comforting, friendly, supportive, and generous. A great day to attend a glamourous event, entertain, plan a charitable event, or a long-distance trip. Business is fruitful, especially if it is related to decoration, publishing, singing, teaching or cooking. Artistic endeavors are profitable. Prosperity, good luck, and a positive return on a previous investment are quite possible today, allowing us to enjoy a more comfortable present and plan for the future.

A fabulous day for structuring our life around concrete objectives, making important decisions, and setting long-term goals. The pace of life may be a little slower, but in as much as we demonstrate a lot of self-discipline, are serious, practical, conservative, reliable, patient, and prudent, our progress is steady and constructive. Excellent for catching up on backlogged work, reorganizing our desk, and taking on added responsibilities. Integrity, loyalty, trustworthiness, hard work and dedication are rewarded. A great transit to ask for a raise or a promotion.
