OCTOBER 2026

ORACLE CARD OF THE MONTH: “Sensitivity” (Venus in Water). A month requiring a deep sensitivity to the feelings of others. Caring, family oriented, empathic, charitable, dreamy, sympathetic, and compassionate, we are easily moved by the plights of others. Possible challenges are solved by tapping into our awareness of the suffering of those around us, our instincts, and intuitive understanding of the unity of all life. We approach our relationships with high standards, dignity, devotion, and gentleness. Our highly developed imagination, idealism, and deep attraction to romance, music, and the arts, are most instrumental in helping us find creative solutions to the issues at hand.

Saturn remains retrograde this whole month till December 10. Its shadow period lasts until March 15, 2027. The degrees covered in October (11º35’-9º21’ Aries) are represented by: “A triangularly shaped flight of wild geese”, “The ruler of a nation”, “A teacher gives new symbolic forms to traditional images”. We are required to strengthen our sense of self, deepen our resolve, take responsibility for our choices, and become masters of our own destiny.

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month till February 8, 2027. Its shadow period lasts until May 21, 2027. The degrees covered in October (5º32-4º43’ Gemini) are symbolized by: “Workmen drilling for oil”, and “A revolutionary magazine asking for action”. Scattered and led mostly by our mind, we could feel pulled in many directions at once. Yet it is by digging deeply in our inner resources that we can find our true strength and real sense of self. From the trust in our own uniqueness comes the power to fight for our beliefs.

Neptune remains retrograde this whole month till December 12. Its shadow period remains until April 3rd, 2027. The degree covered in October (2º52’-2º06’ Aries) is associated with the following image: “The cameo profile of a man, suggesting the shape of his country.” The time has come for us to recognize that our individual destiny is part of a greater whole. Once we blend with the more collective/cosmic aspects of life, we are able to relinquish a limited/ limiting idea of ourselves and start embracing a deeper truth.

Venus turns retrograde on Saturday October 3 at 8º29’ Scorpio till November 13 when it will have reach 22º53’ Libra. Its shadow period remains until December 16. The degree it starts its retrogradation on is symbolized by: “A dentist at work.” Looking for happiness outside of ourselves is not the solution. Let us work on those parts of ourselves that could use some improvement that we become fully healed on our own. Only when we shall feel complete within ourselves and in love with our lives, shall we attract the right person. A relationship from this lifetime’s past or a previous lifetime, may resurface, offering us a second chance to make the wrongs right and experience a fulfilling love.

Pluto turns direct on October 15 at 3º04’ Aquarius. This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by: “A Hindu yogi demonstrates his healing powers”. The conscious understanding of the laws of life enables us to tap into our own deepest abilities.

The Sun enters Scorpio on October 23 till November 21. During the coming month, our willpower, tenacity, passion and unfiltered truthfulness are intensified. Wishing to experience life to the fullest, we may have difficulty delegating responsibilities, could be possessive, vindictive, and impenetrable, but exert extraordinary powers of regeneration, resolute endurance, and unflinching courage in the face of adversity. Pushing aside any obstacle, we see matters to their sometimes bitter end, regardless of the efforts or the sacrifices required. This month is particularly conducive to research, investigations, and science.

Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday October 24 at 20º53’ Scorpio until November 13 when it will have reached 5º18’ Scorpio. Its shadow period remains until November 30th. The degree it starts its retrogradation on is represented by: “Obeying his conscience, a soldier resists orders.” Mercury retrograde always invites us to look within and this one, even more deeply. We are required to leave no stone unturned and be ultimately honest with ourselves in every area of our lives, use our common sense, and be completely true to our innermost beliefs. We are being given a chance to rediscover anything that has been buried in the past and transform what needs to be reevaluated.

Venus re-enters Libra on October 25 till December 4. During the next 5 weeks, our love for luxury, comfort, peace, balance, harmony, and beauty is intensified. Diplomatic in our social interactions, we take great care to be gentle, kind, and pleasing. We adapt to others and treat them the way we would like to be treated ourselves. Unlikely to prefer being alone, we seek companionship as well as a romantic relationship based on true affection and equality. A great time to pamper ourselves, refine our fashion style, and re-decorate our home. Artistic endeavors are favored.

This month’s intentional meditation started on Saturday 9/26. We took out as many blank sheets of paper as we had intentions and placed them near a window, on a balcony or in a garden so that they basked in the light of the Full Moon in Aries at exactly 9:49 AM. Once that moment passed, we gathered our Full Moon charged blank sheets and placed them in a folder until the next New Moon.

On Saturday 10/10, take out your blank Full Moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out by exactly 8:50 AM for the New Moon in Libra. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams….

Next month’s intentional meditation starts on Sunday 10/25. Let us take out as many blank sheets of paper as we have intentions and place them near a window, on a balcony, or in our yard, to let them bask in the light of the Full Moon in Taurus at exactly 9:12 PM. Once that moment will have passed, let us gather our Full Moon charged blank sheets and place them in a folder until the next New Moon in Scorpio on Sunday 11/8 at 11:02 PM.

Friday 10/2: Mercury Square Mars (2:14 AM), Mercury Square Pluto (1:43 PM), Mars Trine Neptune (3:18 PM)

Our impatience tends to hamper our judgement. Not the best day for any P.R. effort. We could identify so deeply with what we believe in that we start acting as if our life depended on us being right. Argumentative, touchy, and obstinate, we tend to become defensive or jump to conclusions without having considered a situation from every angle. If we are not careful, we could easily antagonize the very people who could help us. Best also to avoid legal conflicts and stay away from shady, dishonest characters. We could find it difficult to discuss personal problems, may prove overly suspicious, indulge in obsessive thinking, make compulsive decision, and try to force our ideas onto others. Our plans could be frustrated and some of our most important ideas, significantly challenged. Best to stay as silent as possible, keep our thoughts to ourselves, compromise when needed, and lay low. Inspired to action by our dreams, we are likely to find within ourselves a wealth of spiritual resources. Deeply sensitive to our surrounding and keenly aware of other people’s needs, we want to selflessly help them. Our psychic talents are enhanced. Complex problems are resolved with imagination. A wonderful day to develop our healing abilities, take a yoga class, go dancing, or support a charity.

Saturday 10/3: Venus turns retrograde (12:16 AM), Mars Opposition Puto (3:39 AM)

Re-Venus retrograde, kindly refer to the opening paragraph. Today, more specifically, our self-confidence, power, and energy are intensified. The need to renovate, restore, and rebuild areas of our life that weren’t working well is so enhanced by this transit, that it could well mark the end of a cycle and the beginning of a completely new one. Staying true to our convictions, fighting injustice, and collaborating with others in a way that serves the highest good of all, is essential. We demonstrate much courage, are productive, and quite intense, yet should be careful to not exhibit obstinacy, ruthlessness, or fall prey to selfish aggrandizement. Any attempt to remake others or attain our goals through force could lead to long term conflicts and resentment. Because accidents and injuries are more likely today than any other day, let us be careful with road rage and sharp objects.

Tuesday 10/6: Mercury Conjunct Venus (5:10 PM)

A pleasant day. We feel calm, serene, and graceful. Our need for comfort, companionship, and peace is enhanced. The sympathy we extend towards others is returned in kind. Charming and diplomatic, we communicate our feelings more easily than usual. A good transit for visiting a neighbor, gathering with friends, joining an artistically minded group, or simply calling someone we enjoy speaking to. Out literary and musical talents, as well as our intellectual appreciation of art, harmony, and balance are enhanced. Financial dealings are favored. We could be interested in generating an income from a business related to art, beauty, or any oral or written forms of communication.

Wednesday 10/7: Mars Sextile Uranus (3:42 AM)

An exciting, frenetic, and eventful day. We know exactly what we want and go after it with willpower, courage, and energy. Our curiosity seems endless. Sure of ourselves, inventive, quick, and brave, we are not afraid to venture into the unknown. Daring, fearless, adventurous, highly individualistic, and motivated by the desire to win, we work hard, accomplish our tasks with an originality that pays off. Not resting on our laurels, once a goal has been reached, we strive for an even greater achievement. Our capacity to withstand difficulties is strong yet we resent boredom, discipline, and rules that make no sense. A great day to change our routine, go to a new, unusual place, explore, and experiment. Any activity related to electronics, science or aviation is favored.

Saturday 10/10: Venus Square Mars (2:32 PM)

Not the best day for any kind of social activity, a date, or financial transaction. We may lack some social grace and be rather tactless. People tend to be hypersensitive and easily irritable. Family connections are likely to be a little strained. Relationships could be fraught with frustrations, arguments, and disappointments. Impatience, aggressivity, jealousy, or criticism could prove rather destructive. To avoid any impulsive breakup we would later regret, we need to do our best to be very direct with each other, yet diplomatic, talk with great honest, and make sure our expectations are not so high that they are impossible to satisfy. Impulsive spending could lead to financial depletion. Artists are particularly productive. Dance, music, and competitive sports help us release any pent-up emotional tension.

Thursday 10/15: Sun Sextile Jupiter (1:22 AM)

Any setback we have encountered in the past, dissolves today. Our optimism, hopefulness, and leadership abilities are greatly enhanced. Our self-confidence is higher than usual. Established people are both supportive and helpful. As long as we remain honest, ethical, and benevolent, our endeavors are successful, especially if they involve public speaking, writing, teaching, or publishing. We are also likely to take an active interest in anything related to art, religion, philosophy, education, foreign travel, and the law. An excellent transit for financial investments, selling, and buying. Our high ideals, dynamic ideas, and generous motives gain the trust, respect, admiration, and encouragement of others.

Friday 10/16: Mars Trine Saturn (1:32 AM)

An excellent day for handling assignments requiring concentration, experience, and efficiency. We are willing to work hard for what we want. Our keen judgement, drive, determination, courage, and discipline enable us to achieve our goals and ambitions. We are particularly resourceful and seek constructive and energetic actions. We may not receive the accolades that our efforts, attention to details, and sense of responsibility would justify, but somehow, the satisfaction of having done our work well is stronger than being recognized or even appreciated. Our organizational skills, enterprising spirit, sound common sense, orderly actions, and conservative attitudes are strong. We cope well with emergencies and difficult situations. Hardship, stress, even criticism, we handle with practical efficiency. An excellent day for any work in construction, handling heavy machinery, or strenuous physical activities requiring stamina and endurance.

Monday 10/19: Venus Square Pluto (11:56 PM)

Relationships could be fraught with difficulties. A deep desire to be loved, and a profound longing for companionship could make us vulnerable to falling under the sexual spell of someone with whom there is no real overall compatibility. Our emotions could be stirred up by a crisis, Tensions, resentments that had been brewing under the surface could erupt. Emotional challenges from the past could re-emerge, needing to be faced, resolved, and released. Issues around isolation, jealousy, sexuality, possessiveness, and control could rear their ugly heads. Conflicts could arise also in family relationships. Even our social life could feel unfulfilling. Ultimatums or pushing for a commitment is not advised. Deception and dishonesty only lead to a downfall. Best to lie low, develop a certain emotional detachment, carefully examine our motives, and be super honest with ourselves and others.

Monday 10/26: Sun Square Pluto (5:12 AM)

A great day to let go of patterns that no longer serve us and make radical changes in any area that is not working well. Even machines and situations break down forcing us to reevaluate what we thought was permanent. Holding on to what is outmoded will only create more difficulties for the future. The perfect day for riding ourselves of what is not essential anymore, adopting a new perspective, and making definite plans to overcome any challenge standing in our way. As we work through obstacles, without sacrificing our integrity, we shall find that our strength of character and our maturity increase, allowing us to move forward with greater clarity and power.
