Lunar Eclipse in Libra March 25, 2024

Lunar Eclipse in Libra March 25, 2024

On March 25 at 12:00 AM PST, there is a Lunar Eclipse at 5º Libra. This is the 3rd  of 6 eclipses  in the Aries/Libra axis between April 20, 2023 and March 29, 2025. Eclipses always mark important turning points. They bring to the surface and amplify what needs to be resolved and transformed. Their effects last up to 19 years.

This eclipse encourages to cooperate with others. As long as we are in balance and fair, we can accomplish more in partnerships than on our own.  Our need to gain approval encourages us to be more charming, tactful, and gracious. Our attraction to harmony is also reflected in our home which we want to make beautiful, refined, and peaceful.

Even though our general leaning is towards being friendly, easy-going, and courteous, this eclipse is not all roses and peaches.  We may find ourselves embroiled in emotional complications, family arguments or even hostilities. Interferences in our professional responsibilities are upsetting. Impatience, carelessness or a loss of temper might cause accidents. It is most necessary that we slow down, meet challenges head-on, make the adjustments that are called for, and most of all, stay emotionally controlled.

Concerns related to environment issues, farming, food, or construction could come to the forefront. An increased vulnerability to elusive conditions, negative forces, deceptions, and insecurity, could precipitate a spiral of inaccurate perceptions. We could interpret facts in the wrong way,  exaggerate doomsday impressions, and  fall prey to unrealistic expectations, resulting in delusion, indecisiveness, anxiety, and confusion. Yet, attempting to escape conditions perceived as being too harsh is not the solution. Insights into mass psychology, as well as a deeper understanding of our own motivations, give us the chance to correct past mistakes both on a collective and a personal level. It is essential that we are clear on our own identity, use possible challenges to grow,  take full responsibility for the consequences of our actions, and build a life that is truly our own.

On the positive side, this eclipse intensifies our willpower and leadership skills. It is best that we do not force issues, express our authority indirectly, and show respect for different points of view. Emotional challenges are amplified. We are required to re-evaluate all our relationships.  Are they still adapted to our needs? Are they helpful? Toxic? What do we lack? What should we change? What can we change? Where should we compromise, negotiate, find the balance between expressing our independence and respecting the demands of another? Are we being truly honest with ourselves?

If we  have eyes to see, the truth is right in front of us. By  renewing our self-confidence, developing our depth and emotional strength, and drawing on our meditative serenity and visionary abilities,  we can restore faith, and together, create a better, brighter, happier future.

Happy Eclipse day!

In Loving Light.
