RUNE OF THE MONTH: INGUZ "Renewal". Let us remember that our body is constantly renewing itself and that if we let go of certain physical and emotional habits, our reality necessarily shifts. This month, we are asked to let go of the past, of all the stories that are limiting us and binding us. It is time to free ourselves from the known and to open ourselves to the mystery where everything is possible. A chance is given to us to redefine completely who we are, how we wish to be seen and what impact we want to make on our environment. Let us re-create ourselves with love and wisdom. ************************

Saturn turns direct on July 7th at 4º49' Scorpio.

The shadow period continues until October 14. The degree it travels this month is symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by: "A massive rocky shore resists the pounding of the sea". We are finding our core values, what we stand for, who we are in our divinity that cannot be swayed no matter the ebb and flow of our external circumstances. Our inner strength, our personal discipline are our authority.

Uranus turns retrograde on July 17 at 12º31' Aries.

Its shadow period will remain until April 3, 2014. The degree is travels this month is represented in the Sabian Symbols by: "An unexploded bomb reveals an unsuccessful social protest." As the lies, corruptions, and manipulations are being exposed, more and more people are waking up to the truth, very different from what we had been led to believe was reality and rebelling against the illusions. It may not be sufficient yet to completely overthrow the old paradigm, but society shifts are well underway.

Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 13.

The shadow period (period of time until it reaches the exact same degree it started its retrogration on) extends until March 4, 2014. The degrees it travels in July (5º13'-4º40' Pisces) are represented in the Sabian Symbols by "A parade of army officers in full dress" and "A church bazaar". The façade of the establishment needs to be embellished to cover the fact that what lies underneath may not be as glamorous. A time to see through the illusions and recognize that all that glitters may not be gold.

Pluto continues being retrograde this whole month until September 20.

The shadow period will last until January 2014. This month, it travels from 10º19' to 9º35' Capricorn. These 2 degrees are symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by the following images: "A large group of pheasant on a private estate" and "An albatross feeding from the hand of a sailor". Birds are said to be messengers between dimensions. Even if from a human point of view it may seem that our powers are limited, this is without counting on the help of otherworldly beings and the whole of Nature who have our best interests at heart and are intervening on our behalf.

Mercury remains retrograde until July 20th (11:22 AM) between 22º22' and 13º23' Cancer.

Its shadow period lasts until August 4. Mercury retrograde always requires of us to revisit projects that had been collecting dust. It allows people whom we hadn't seen in a while to resurface, and ideas we had forgotten to return to the forefront. This particular retrogradation could stimulate our imagination and cause us to write or paint in a need to express concepts that may not be popular but are helping humankind start again on a whole new basis. We are required to master our moods and stay centered in our inner peace, rather than just react emotionally to the ebb and flow of everything that comes our way. We could become particularly concerned with remodeling our home or making it more comfortable. We are also particularly sensitive to the spiritual ties we have with family members. Our psychic abilities and need for inner security are enhanced.

Our Intentional Meditation

Our intentional meditation started on June 23 with the Full Moon in Capricorn.

On the New Moon in Cancer on 7/8, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out at exactly 0:14 AM (you can put them out up to several hours prior to that time). Once that moment has passed (even if several hours later, or the next morning), staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams… On Monday 7/22, place as many blank sheets as you will have intentions out to be charged by the Full Moon in Aquarius at exactly 11:15 AM. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder until the next New Moon in Leo on August 6 at 2:51 PM. ************************

Monday 7/1: Venus Square Saturn (10:03 AM), Sun Opposition Pluto (5:03 PM)

A day of strained relationships. Best to keep our reservations to ourselves and avoid engaging in power struggles. We need to stay very focused on our truth and be compassionate with regard to the failings of others. Unrealistic expectations invite disappointments.

Wednesday 7/3: Sun Square Uranus (11:22 PM)

A friend from the past could re-emerge. New, exciting people could walk into our lives. Sudden changes could cause some disturbances. Our need for independence could create unexpected estrangements. Important to remain flexible and open-minded.

Sunday 7/7: Venus Trine Uranus (5:14 PM), Saturn turns direct (10:12 PM)

A wonderful day for an exciting date. Excellent also for creating new sources of financial income. Our magnetism is enhanced, attracting to us many interesting experiences that are uplifting to the soul.

Tuesday 7/9: Sun Conjunct Mercury (11:41 AM)

A very good day for direct communications, exposing our ideas with clarity and gathering with friends. Short distance travels are protected. Good for signing papers, making phone calls and writing e-mails.

Saturday 7/13: Mars enters Cancer (6:22 AM till August 28)

During the next 6 weeks, our sensitivity to our family, our roots, and our spiritual lineage is enhanced. Our actions are taken with those we cherish in mind. More than usual are we aware of the emotional consequences of our priorities.

Regarding Uranus retrograde, kindly refer to the opening paragraph. Today, more specifically, is spiritually rewarding. We feel emotionally balanced. The old, the new and the mystery blend harmoniously, opening us to a whole new dimension of consciousness.

Friday 7/19: Saturn Trine Neptune (6:28 AM)

A day to walk our talk, spiritualize our daily life as well as bring structure and grounding to our spiritual beliefs. We may feel the need to regenerate in silence and solitude. Situations in our lives could be dissolving, allowing space for a reconstruction much more in alignment with our ideals.

Saturday 7/20: Mercury turns direct (11:22 AM), Mars Trine Neptune (12:43 PM), Mars Trine Saturn (2:34 PM), forming a Water Grand Trine Mars-Saturn-Neptune

Communication returns to normal with a few glitches, but nothing major. A day of inspired, grounded action. What we anchor today has long lasting, constructive repercussions in the world. Our courage, self-control and our determination uplift others. A day to act on our ideals and turn them into realities.

Monday 7/22: Mars Conjunct Jupiter (0:35 AM), Venus enters Virgo (5:41 AM till August 15), Sun enters Leo (8:56 AM till August 21)

We assert ourselves with poise and elegance today. Our warmth and positive energy elicit positive responses from others. A day of generous actions and openness to the world. Our emotions are practical and our sensuality pure.

Friday 7/26: Venus Opposition Neptune (5:08 AM), Venus Sextile Saturn (11:36 AM)

A day to reassess our romantic involvements with calm. Best to go on a retreat and choose silence and solitude to gain clarity. We could feel vaguely disenchanted and wish to dream our reality into being rather than face our responsibilities.

Saturday 7/27: Mars Opposition Pluto (3:47 PM), Sun Square Saturn (6:06 PM)

Our obligations could feel heavier than usual. A day to be responsible and efficient. Excellent for completing all the tasks at hand. Best to not engage in a battle of wills even if someone in our environment is likely to be vastly uncooperative. The more we assert ourselves constructively for the highest good of all concerned, the greater the common benefit.

Sunday 7/28: Venus Sextile Jupiter (6:42 AM)

A day of elegant cooperation with others, pleasant social activities, warmth, comfort and optimistic serenity. Excellent for financial investments as well as for long distance traveling and positive contacts with foreigners. A good day for a nice date that is both fun and freeing.

Tuesday 7/30: Venus Trine Pluto (5:50 AM)

Excellent for financial abundance. Previously hidden emotions could surface, forcing our hearts to be more open. A romantic involvement is likely to have depth and intensity. Cooperation with others brings great results.

Wednesday 7/31: Mars Square Uranus (8:08 PM)

Sudden, unexpected changes could disrupt our routine. Let us be very present when driving. Impulsive action, impatience and rash behavior are more likely than usual. A strong need for change could bring estrangements. Best to think things through before jumping to conclusions.
