SEPTEMBER 2015
RUNE OF THE MONTH: Uruz “support”. No matter what our challenges may be, it is important for each of us to remember how benevolent the universe is and how it wishes always to gently support our highest good. In times of darkness, of feeling alone or betrayed, there is always a bigger picture where all the pieces of the puzzle fall into a glorious pattern assisting our transmutation into butterflies. Even if for the caterpillar this may seem like death, it is only the death of the life as he has known it until now, and the emergence of a whole new life, pregnant with unlimited possibilities. As we start to fully know that that we are never al-one, but truly all-one, we can also generously offer our support to others through kind words, loving deeds, and cheerful encouragement. For as we give, so do we receive.

September is a cosmically intense turning point month. The first part of the year which began with the Spring equinox and ended with the Summer Solstice marked a time of clearing and letting go both personally and collectively of the last remnants of the old consciousness. The solar eclipse on September 12 heralds the second portal of this year: manifestation of the new. It will be complete by the winter solstice.
Two eclipses this month. Eclipses are always exciting times of no return that affect us in ways that change our lives for many years to come. We need to be very careful regarding what we say on an eclipse day as our words could be irreversible. The transformations initiated on those dates anchor the course of our destiny.
Solar Eclipse (New Moon) on Saturday 9/12 at 11:41 PM (20º10’ Virgo). This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by “A girls’ basketball team”. Revolutionary new ideas come with this eclipse, as well as unexpected friendships and a huge sense of freedom. Our healing abilities become stronger than ever. A strong sense of purpose and generosity inspires us to selfless service. This eclipse helps us access buried psychic abilities, as well as wisdom internalized from past lives’ initiations.
Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) on Sunday 9/27 at 7:50 PM (4º40’ Aries). This degree is symbolized by “A triangle with wings”. Prophetic dreams, powerful awakenings enabling us to access the deepest recesses of our subconscious, inspire artistic creativity while motivating the healing actions of random kindness. We seek harmony and peace and are likely to work hard to make as many people as possible aware of the importance of living in harmony with each other regardless of creed, color or culture. More than ever do we become aware of our responsibility in what unravels in our relationships. This eclipse asks us to step into the generosity of our spirit and to find within ourselves all the magic that we would readily recognize outside of ourselves.
Mercury is retrograde between 9/18 and 10/9 between 15º53’ and 0º54’ Libra. Its shadow period remains until October 24. A chance to revisit old relationships, to rethink our morality, understand and transform self-destructive emotional patterns, find new ways of formulating our needs with loved ones and listening to theirs. There is more balance and serenity in cooperative endeavors. Issues connected to peace come to the forefront. Close friends we haven’t heard from in a long time, reemerge. We are given the opportunity of freeing ourselves from limited/limiting beliefs.
Venus turns direct on Sunday September 6 at 1:29 AM at 14º24’ Leo. Its shadow period remains until October 9. This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by “A pageant, with its spectacular floats, moves along a street crowded with cheering people”. Revisiting old relationships enabled us to find absolute clarity with regard to whom we truly cherish and who really lives in their heart. As the prophecy goes, when we shall think with our hearts and feel with our head, when the condor (South America, the heart) and the eagle (North America, the mind) will fly together, the world will be at peace…
Saturn enters Sagittarius on 9/18 (till December 21, 2017). Those 2 years bring major changes in the ways we view religion. The darker side of it: fanaticism, rigid, moralistic, unbending standards are exposed. Educational reforms, integrity, inter-cultural/inter-faith studies, international student exchanges come to the forefront. 2 years to be clear on our priorities, further our higher education, teach, write, travel, disseminate knowledge and deepen our wisdom.
Uranus remains retrograde this whole month until December 25. Its shadow period lasts until April 11, 2016. The degrees it travels this month (19º58’-18º58’ Aries) are symbolized by “A young girl feeding birds in winter” and “The ‘magic carpet’ of oriental imagery”. Freedom comes from nurturing those less fortunate than ourselves and from believing in magic. Fairy tales are stories we have forgotten the reality of. A month when our uniqueness and our awakening emerge from acting from our hearts and trusting in miracles.
Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 18. Its shadow period lasts until March 8, 2016. In September, it travels from 8º24’ to 7º39’ Pisces. The images associated to these degrees are: “A jockey spurs his horse, intent on outdistancing his rivals.” and “a girl blowing a bugle”. A time of awakening to our truth, and remembering as well as asserting our uniqueness. The veils between the dimensions are thinning, leading to inspired actions, dissolving some of the materiality that until now held a strong hold on our lives. Unexpected portals are opening, enabling time travel and the ability to shift into parallel universes. A powerful time to also be aware of the preciousness of pure waters and to bring healing from higher dimensions to the rivers, the lakes, the springs, the seas, and the oceans.
Pluto turns direct on September 24 at 12º58’ Capricorn. Its shadow period continues until November 17, 2016. This degree is symbolized by “A fire worshipper meditates on the ultimate realities of existence”. As we stand with courage, integrity and transparency, our power finds its quiet, yet strong expression in the world, unveiling the mysteries of life. There are no secrets to the pure heart. The more we shed old skins, leading our lives with purpose and clear vision, the closer we become to being one with all that is.

This month and next month’s intentional meditations are particularly powerful since they coincide with two eclipses. This new cycle began on August 29 when you took out as many blank sheets as you had intentions, and placed them out (on a balcony, near a window or in a garden) to be charged by Full Moon in Pisces. On the New Moon in Virgo (eclipse) on Saturday 9/12. Same procedure as above, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window at exactly 11:41 PM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…
Our next intentional meditation cycle will begin with the Full Moon in Aries on Sunday 9/27 (eclipse). At exactly 7:50 PM, take out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions to be charged by the rays of the Full Moon on a balcony, in a garden, or by a window. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder until the next New Moon on October 12.

A day of deep insights into people and situations. Important to avoid control, manipulations and underhanded actions. Remaining very centered in our truth, with vision and integrity, enables us to find creative solutions that empower all involved.
Sunday 9/6: Venus turns direct (1:29 AM)
After 6 weeks of deep recalibration, our relationships, as well as our finances, return to a new level of normality.
Tuesday 9/8: Mars Trine Uranus (12:53 PM)
Unexpected events, unusual circumstances, unforeseen changes free us, enabling us to find creative new solutions to challenges at hand. Stimulating people could come into our lives, opening us to different ideas and pathways. A day however calling for caution on the road or while operating sharp objects.
Wednesday 9/9: Mercury Square Pluto (12:33 PM)
A day to lie low and avoid pushing ahead at all costs. Ultimatums, power struggles and forcing our ideas upon others can prove particularly destructive. Our energy is best used thinking of ways to create harmony and unity while keeping our opinions to ourselves.

Wednesday 9/16: Jupiter Opposition Neptune (11:56 PM)
A day to express gratitude towards all that we are and all that we have. Selfless service comes with a sense of adventurousness. A long distance travel, a new philosophy of life, as well as matters triggering our imagination, can prove particularly inspiring inasmuch as we relinquish all expectation. We could feel more tired than usual and slightly more unrealistic also. Our need to express compassion and share our resources generously, is greatly enhanced and favored.

Tuesday 9/22: Venus Trine Uranus (8:59 PM)
A wonderful day for an unexpected, exciting romance that proves both inspiring and freeing inasmuch as we do not try to make it fit into a strict mold. Great for a social gathering that expands our vision and brings a sense of adventurousness into our life. A sudden financial windfall opens the door to new possibilities.
Wednesday 9/23: the Sun enters Libra (1:21 AM), Sun Sextile Saturn (11:36 AM)
During the next month, we seek situations and relationships that are just, harmonious, peaceful and balanced. A wonderful four weeks of walking in grace and beauty. We could be particularly attracted to art and pleasant social gatherings. Issues surrounding peace and cooperation come to the forefront. Today, more specifically, we are able to draw most positively upon all our reserves of strength, persistence, patience and focus. We are willing to work hard to complete projects at hand. Our discipline, as well as our sense of duty, are greatly rewarded. Our ambitions are furthered in a solid and grounded way.

During the next 7 weeks, getting back in shape and healing are favored. Wonderful for starting a new fitness program, for sticking to a healthy diet and for clarifying our mind. We are drawn to selfless service. Today, more specifically, best to avoid signing legally binding documents. A day when many cherished ideas and concepts could be challenged. Power games, manipulations, sarcasm, suspiciousness could enhance the difficulties associated with this transit.
Friday 9/25: Mars Square Saturn (6:12 PM)
Conflicts could stem from unsympathetic and cold attitudes. We could feel unsupported, not realizing that we are the ones causing our own isolation by not owning frustrations and anger. A great day to assume responsibilities, particularly unpleasant ones, and to recognize and transmute, egotistical and defensive responses.
