December 2014
RUNE OF THE MONTH:. Isa “ice”. A rune advising us to be cautious this month. All is not as it seems. Even when the lake is frozen allowing us to walk on it, the ice may thin unexpectedly and we could find ourselves without any support, falling into the freezing waters. A slow and steady progression allows us to move forward in peace and balance. We may need some quiet time in isolation to reflect on our lives and gather our thoughts. A good month to go into hibernation and dream our life into being.

Jupiter turns retrograde on Dec 8 at 12:41 PM and remains so until April 8, 2015. The degrees it travels this month (22º38’-21º43’ Leo) are symbolized by “A bareback rider in a circus displays her dangerous skill.” and “A carrier pigeon fulfilling its mission”. Issues regarding religion, the law, education and long distance travel could surface. Being in integrity is of the utmost importance, so is being people who are also honest. A month when we push our own limits and realize our potential in glorious ways. We come to enjoy the rewards of all the hard work we have done, bringing to fruition an important cycle of creation in our lives.
Uranus Square Pluto on the 14th of December is the one before last of the series of 7 that began in June 2012 and will end in March 2015. Major recalibration is at work in our lives. A time of death and transformation of all that no longer serves our higher purpose. Previously hidden inner and outer obstacles are being revealed. People show their true colors. Witnesses to the fact that nothing is ever as it seems, circumstances change dramatically. As we get closer to the real core of our being, our lives change accordingly.
Uranus turns direct on Dec 21st at 12º34’ Aries. The shadow (the period in time needed for it to return to the exact same degree it started its retrogration on) lasts until April 8, 2015. This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by: “A bomb which failed to explode is concealed”. As we have become willingly more anchored in our individuality and opened pathways into the unknown to recreate our reality, big revolutionary changes were no longer necessary. We opened the door to our own future without the need for any external help to break us free from old paradigms.
Saturn enters Sagittarius on Dec 23 at 8:33 AM till Dec 19, 2017. During the next 2 years, integrity will be greatly honored and lack thereof will also be revealed with clarity. Issues around the law, higher education, long distance travels, freedom and responsibilities come to the forefront. There could be major educational reforms and traveling will be undertaken to expand our philosophy of life. A deeper understanding of our essential oneness brings cultures and religions together. Our personal boundaries are likely to be tested, as well as our values. What do we really stand for? How honest are we with ourselves? How serious are we about really learning about what came before us and what has been hidden from us? Profound archeological finds could be revealed, changing completely our understanding of the history of humanity.
The night of Dec 24-25 begin the 12 holy nights of Christmas. Each night for 12 nights, we shall be dreaming a month of the following year. Dec 24-25 corresponds to January 2015, Dec 25-26, to February 2015 etc…. As the world gathers in prayers, in celebration, exchanging gifts, phone calls and cards, more light surrounds our planet, allowing for more gratitude and love to abound. Make the best possible use of this sacred period!

This month’s intentional meditation begins on Saturday 12/6. Take out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions, and place them out (on a balcony, near a window or in a garden) to be charged by the Full Moon in Gemini at exactly 4:27 AM (you can place them up to several hours prior to that exact moment if necessary). Once that moment has passed, gather your sheets and place them in a folder until the New Moon in Capricorn.
On Sunday 12/21, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out at exactly 5:35 PM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away (even up to several hours after the exact time) in a folder, expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

During the next 3 weeks, our feelings are deeper, yet more reserved than usual. We seek commitment and truth in our relationships. They all need to pass the test of reality. A shaky one may not survive, while a good one will become more cemented.
Friday 12/12: Mercury Trine Jupiter (3:24 AM)
We speak our truth with integrity. Any communication pertaining to the law, religion or higher education is favored. Wonderful for long distance traveling, completing a university degree or any legal transaction. We express ourselves with faith, trust and optimism, thus creating many positive opportunities in our lives.

Tuesday 12/16: Mercury enters Capricorn (7:53 PM) till January 4, 2015
During the next 3 weeks, our thoughts are more serious, practical, efficient and reserved. We may be more silent than usual and seek meaningful exchanges with people who can further our ambitions or enrich our lives with wisdom and maturity. Wonderful for writing on a matter requiring structured knowledge.
Saturday 12/20: Mercury Sextile Neptune (1:31 AM), Venus Square Uranus (9:08 AM), Venus Conjunct Pluto (1:07 PM), Mars Sextile Uranus (7:47 PM)
A day of impulsive, individualistic and freeing actions. We seek excitement and adventure in a dreamy sort of way. Meditation, artistic creation, healing are all favored. Our night visions could be more vivid than usual. Romantic passion and heights of emotion could also lead to estrangement if we are too inflexible or intent on remaining too independent. Heart and mind should not remain separate from each other. To find balance, it is particularly important today to feel with our heads and think with our hearts. Bing more cutting, independent and freedom seeking than usual could estrange us from our friends. Our knowingness enables us to see through people and situations clearly and fast. Not the best day however for cooperative endeavors.
Friday 12/26: Sun Sextile Neptune (7:11 PM)
We could feel dreamy and need quiet space. A good day for artistic creation and meditation. An inspiring book or movie could prove very uplifting. A high sensitivity to our environment requires that we stay clear from negative influences.
