Lunar Eclipse on Friday 10/18 at 4:38 PM at 25º45' Aries.

This degree is symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by: "A man possessed of more gifts than he can hold". Eclipses are always turning points in our lives beyond which nothing will ever be the same. Lunar eclipses always point us to the future. In this case, all that we are is returning to us. We are remembering that we are not just divine beings having a human experience, but divine beings returning to having a divine experience. As we rediscover all that we are and all our skills, our lives expand and new horizons unravel.

Mercury turns retrograde on 10/21 until November 10 when it will reach 2º30' Scorpio.

Its shadow period (the time taken to return to the exact same degree it started its retrogradation on) lasts until November 25. Mercury travels this month between 18º24' and 11º19' Scorpio. During this time, our communications become deeper. People from the past may reemerge. We could revisit activities and locations we had forgotten about. Unfinished work requires our attention. Our mind becomes more interested in metaphysical truths and understanding mysteries of the past.

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month. Its shadow period remains until April 3, 2014.

The degrees it travels this month (10º37'-9º28' Aries) are represented in the Sabian Symbols by "The ruler of a nation" and "A teacher gives new symbolic forms to traditional images". As we become more and more anchored in our personal mastery, our ancient wisdom returns to us. No longer slaves to the past, we become rainbow bridges, redefining the past from the future.

Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 13.

The shadow period (time necessary for a planet to reach the exact same degree it started its retrogradation on) extends until March 4, 2014. The 2 degrees it travels in August (3º05'-2º38' Pisces) is represented in the Sabian Symbols by: "Heavy car traffic on a narrow isthmus linking two seaside resorts" and "A petrified forest". Neptune always represents the mystical and the magical at work in our lives. It connects us with higher spheres of consciousness, makes the invisible, visible, opens our visions and brings spiritual inspiration. In October, the peace and happiness we experience when in seaside resorts is the key to bridging the inner and the outer, the upper and the lower worlds so that the depth of our ancient wisdom may reemerge, revealing all our inner layers.

Our Intentional Meditation

Our intentional meditation started on 9/19 with the Full Moon in Pisces.

On the New Moon in Libra on Friday 10/4, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out at exactly 5:34 PM (you can put them out up to several hours prior to that time). Once that moment has passed (even if several hours later, or the next morning), staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

On Friday 10/18, place as many blank sheets as you will have intentions out to be charged by the Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) in Aries at exactly 4:38 PM. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder until the next New Moon (Solar Eclipse) in Scorpio on Sunday November 3 at 4:50 AM.

Tuesday 10/1: Mercury Trine Neptune (2:46 PM), Sun Square Pluto (6:25 PM)

We may experience today clashes of will. Best to be conciliatory, cooperative and adaptable rather than passionately exert our power.

Thursday 10/3: Sun opposite Uranus (7:12 AM)

It may be difficult today to adapt to what others may want from us. A day when it is our way or the high way. Developing our leadership abilities leads to more independence.

Sunday 10/6: Mercury Sextile Pluto (6:55 PM)

We are able to X-ray situations and people today. Our communications with others reach new depths. We are likely to become fascinated with life's mysteries, particularly death, the afterlife, sexuality and esoteric truths. The transformation of old patterns that no longer serve our highest good, is easier today than at any other time.

Monday 10/7: Venus enters Sagittarius (10:54 PM till November 5)

During the next month, emotionally, we may be more daring and adventurous. We could be attracted to other lands, cultures, civilizations. Traveling feels exhilarating. We could be drawn to foreigners and seek to be more independently ourselves within our relationships.

Love relationships could be slightly disappointing today. We could dream of an ideal love that was lost or doesn't truly exist. A day to be forgiving, express compassion and develop unconditional love.

We should beware of excesses today. Let us not promise more than we can deliver. Everything that glitters is not gold. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Tuesday 10/15: Mars enters Virgo (4:05 AM till December 7)

Virgo Suns or Virgo Ascendant natives are favored during this period. A great time to start a new exercise program, to reexamine our health and nutrition as well as to become clear on what brings purity to our lives, both mentally and physically.

Wednesday 10/16: Venus Trine Uranus (3:04 PM)

We could feel wonderfully magnetic today. Our social life could be sparkling and exciting. We are drawn to unusual people. A wonderful day for artists, healers and channelers. The veil between this reality and other realms is thinner than usual. We feel inspired. Important insights could come through visions in dreams or meditation. A day when we need to float a little and allow ourselves some free time to just be.

Tuesday 10/29: Mercury Conjunct Saturn (1:48 PM)

A wonderful day to clear our desk of backlogged work. Today we are focused, organized and efficient. We could get a lot done in a minimum amount of time. We seek serious conversations and mature friendships or associations. Our long and short term goals are clearer and we are willing to work hard to further our ambitions.

A day of courage and intense action. We feel passionate. Our commitment to our path tolerates no interference.
